The night steals life giving warmth.

You wait while most of your comrades arrive, but notice some still have not come out. After breakfast, you wonder if they've overslept, so you start looking for them.

You eventually find the Exorcist sitting calmly on a bench, until you walk in front of him to greet him and notice that has face has been chewed off. Only the fact he is wearing the same clothes as yesterday identifies this as dzilla77's body.

But where is CrimsonFox?

You keep looking. You walk by the church and notice that someone has hastily dug something in the cemetery last night. You start digging and in a handful of minutes, just a foot below the surface, you come across CF's body, dead to violent ends. It looks like someone snapped his neck.

Both CF and dzilla77 have died. CF was a roleless Lightbrigner, and dzilla77 was The Exorcist.

Night Four has ended. Day Five ends on 10pm Friday night.

Welp, that blows. I really hope the BG didn't protect Bug and hope McKerney is the person protected from here on out. Interesting that two died tonight, I wonder if they are done converting.

OK. That's not fantastically good then. Looks like dzilla was attacked by the same thing as the other three but what happened to CF?

I will start the day with the person I'm hoping can help bring light to things.

Vote Chief Rum

At least I will not have to work tomorrow so will be on most of the day.

Does that mean this was the first night of no conversions? While I wouldn't assume there were three previous nights of conversions (blocks, fails, whatever), that probably means there is at least one and possible two

Ok, well then I will have to rethink things in the morning then. Glad someone came forward before I mentioned it.

I dunno - two night kills is a bit extreme. I'm thinking that Crimson could be the result of a villager/item night kill. Or there are two factions after all.

Converts are minor characters it looks like (zombies, skeletons). So which would kill CF?

Also, has anyone known explicitly what their item has done before it was used or even if you can use it or it is just something that gets used automatically when needed? With both items I've had none have told me anything other than the name.

Sorry guys I have a really hard time seeing the wolves having two kills from now on. I guess it could be a one-off power but why would they use it on Crimson?

Not saying I won't end up going there, as it could have been a wolf move, but I have to at least sleep on it now and reexamine things in the morning.

You don't need to use items, is my understanding. Just have them in your possession and they will be in "use".

As to what exactly that use is, I have yet to determine it for your item, and an immediate and obvious use does not leap to my mind.

I don't get that either at first, but again as I post, I remembered he had the +1 item. Could come in handy for the wolves.

I really doubt it will keep those interested in voting for me. I am sure more will have to be revealed (sigh...).

At least I'm not important. I passed one other item as well. hoopsguy was not the recipient but he'll know what it is. Hopefully the actual recipient this time is better using it than ARod was tonight.

This being said, maybe we want to tie it up and see what person had the item on them.

The +1 item? I must have missed that. What's that? I know Abe likes his D&D so +1 doesn't sound that impressive. I would expect at least a vorpal item.

I assumed it was a one off ability. Why do you assume CF was the "extra" kill. Could it not have been dzilla?

Like I said, dzilla looks to have been killed the same way as the other three night kills. CF looks more clinical.

CF said today that he believed he had an item that gave him an extra vote, but was not able to test it thus far. That is why I suggested a tie this / past evening to see if it worked.

Well that was a pretty lousy day all around.

Dubb, what had you so convinced that Crimson was a convert? And did you happen to activate any kind of villager role to take matters into your own hands last night?

Commo, it has been fun having you in this game and seeing you get more assertive between last game and this one. Keep up the good work.

Bug - why didn't you immediately post your scan result from last night? It looks like you were on after Abe announced the results ... this is information we need to know and the failure to come forward with it right away is the kind of thing that can make people a bit suspicious.

Crimson does seem an odd choice-dubb was going to be coming after him today, so would have been an easy lynch target for the wolves. Maybe they just want to take out the "noisier" players? Dubb can you shed any light on CF's death?

I have a question to the people involved with Chief's item swap - do you think the items are powerful enough to provide Chief with trust for handing them over? I'm probably looking at voting Eagle or him at this stage as the simplest options. I do have misgivings about some of the "cleared" players but I think we have enough of a buffer at the moment to push that on the back-burner until next week.

I guess I need to offer some sort of defence of myself at this stage as I'm a pretty obvious suspect giving my crappy voting record. But, you know, I don't really have one. I haven't been as present as I normally am and, consequently, haven't been able to make the same shaky analysis I normally do. On the plus side the lack of involvement means I haven't obsessed as much as usual and have managed to avoid releasing the Dogs of Paranoia! Although I have one or two ideas along those lines.

Crappy night phase. I too doubt we're going to have many more if any multiple kills, but you knew there was the potential for it at some point. CF was an odd choice with some people thinking he was a convert (unless dubb did use a villager kill as was suggested), but right now we can just hope bug was telling the truth. Who did you scan last night bug?

I hope it was CR or EF, but if it was CF that sucks.

Have you played with bug before commo? He acts weird often, and it's usually as a villager. It's good that people realize we can't discount the idea that he was 1) converted, or 2) they converted the actual seer and used that info to save one of their own. Since he scanned me I feel like I should be in his camp, don't think it makes sense to go that way yet. Do want to hear who he scanned last night though. Have to take the announced scans so far with a grain of salt but they are still something to work off.

Forget if anyone asked this in the aftermath of last night's actions, but is anyone else surprised Bug wasn't even targeted for kill by the wolves?

I mean, maybe they're bing cautious, but it seems odd the wolves would have not one but two kills last night, and they didn't use either one to try to take out the seer.

Although if Bug is who he says he is, that's pretty strong evidence the wolves have not corrupted the Sheriff. If they still have to fear the Sheriff, then they avoid Bug the seer.

Yes, I was. But I assume that they thought I would be protected

I'm honestly getting pretty skeptical about Bug. With there being two kills last night, I'm going to assume that there are at least 2 wolves (unless a villager confesses to one of those kills) and look elsewhere for the time being at least.
