Not sure what answer you would get from #1035. If he isn't a meaningless villager, he could be either good or bad.

Ok that's what we know. So now I'm assuming that, for the moment, there are 5 bad guys. I also strongly ssupect that there is an EG, at least one more good EG role, and dubb's soothsayer. So that gives us the following chart:
1. Bad guy C
2. Passacaglia - Ruling Class, killed Night 4
3. Bad guy D
4. Head Necro
5. EG
6. Cronin - Explorer, lynched Day 2
7. Dubb -- soothsayer
8. Good EG

17. Blade6119 - Mystic, Day kill Day 4
18. Swaggs - Ruling Class, lynched Day 1

How do we fill in the rest of this chart?

There could have been Night Attacks on each other as well. We wouldn't know about those. Also, a target against the favored would have failed, and we wouldn't knopw that, either.

BTW, that'd also be why so many dead Egyptians have roles. With a smaller number of Egyptians, there'd be a larger percentage of them with roles.

Let's look at a few disadvantages the Necs have:

Their big gun, the Mummy, loses to our big gun, the Avatar.
They don't know who each other is at the beginning. As we've seen, taht's given us a huge tempo advantge over them as we have early momentum.
The EG role is much more powerful than normal.
The Necs don't win when they get even numbers, they only win when they eliminate all Egyptians.

And consider, for a minute, that we have two mystics.

How many Necs in this group? My guess, around a third.

-Anxiety

Good post. Let me tell you, the necros want me dead. I am betting they have a couple guys around to summon a mummy. I am your protection.

In the rules it says that they won't even know if they are attacked.

All you need to scan is the "I know I'm a good guy"

it wasn't said to set up a favorable scan it was said in response to Alan thus I think it's a fair phrase to scan and would give us a true or false statement.

BTW, we have not confirmed a single Egyptian without a role yet. My theory accounts for that in a way other than saying "We're unlucky"

There's a chance to, I beleive.

But they aren't going to reveal it to us, that's what I was indicating. There might have been more attacks, just they hit people who either don't know or won;t speak up.

Plus, they may have been really cautious. Let's say you've found one Nec on Night 2 after whiffing on N1. Do the two of you combine to do one attack, or do you double your efforts to find more Necs? I think ya got to keep combing.

So I'm still not sure if he was diseased or not after reading and re-reading his death post by hoops. If he was, then they only have 1 more opportunity. If he wasn't then they still have 2 kills with this skill left.

I find that unlikely.. Blade had been playing low keyed up till that day, and it suddenly happened right in the middle of him being in some heated arguements. The disease takes 2 days to go through, and would have to have been planed well in ahead of time knowing he woudl be there then for the chaos that it occured.

I mean, its never good to lose a seer, but it definitly sealed the deal for a bad guy lynch last night. I think there is a different explanation than disease.

Okay BK, I jut did some math.

Assume 7 Necs:

Of the good guy roles, I suspect that Hoops would keep out at least one just to keep it mysterious. I submit that role is the High Priest, cause I've seen no sign of any consecration of the dead occuring.

Assume that we, as Egyptians, have, maybe 3 of the neutral roles.

We now have 13 Egyptians accounted for with roles. 7 Necs. That's 20 of the 23. That's without any double roles on the E side.

BTW, it doesn't matter what the misisng role is, I bet hoops didn't include at least one good guy role to keep us guessing.

So, my quickest guess, with 7 necs, is that we have, at most, just three vanilla Egyptians, and maybe less than that if E's got more neutral roles or there were duplicate roles on our side.

A promise from the Avatar. If you guys don't lynch me today, nobody will die tonight. AND I'll be around to protect you from the Mummy!

Quote:
Necromancers do not know each other from the outset
- each one can attack on a given night
- a single Necromancer has a 50% chance of achieving a night kill alone. If there are two involved, that percentage rises to 100%.
- if they attack the Elite Guard, Mummy, or Avatar by themselves, they die. If they attack with two members, they escape the Elite Guard, but one is killed by the Mummy or Avatar.

On Items:

We already know that there is one item, the helmet, which was not on hoopsguy's initial rules list. Without knowing what other items are out there, it certainly is conceivable that someone used an item and summoed the Avatar. They might not even know it was them that summoned the Avatar. Maybe a Scarab of Summoning or something.

or a warning from a mummy

Quote:
- Mummy: the mummy has ability to alternate between protecting a necromancer or completing a night kill (100%) each night, will overpower Elite Guard (kills him, not target) but will be destroyed if he encounters the Avatar. The mummy does not have to activate his power if he deems it more covert to avoid doing so. The mummy will only be animated for a maximum of three nights. Can communicate with Head Necromancer who raised him, as well as any other necromancers in Head Necromancer's discovered group.

Nice. A real blunder by the necros leaving you alive to do another scan.

I find this suspicious Fouts. If you were the Avatar, all you have is a guard action. How could you guarantee nobody dies with just one guard action? Unless, of coruse, you are the mummy, and you don;t submit a night action.
