The Post has reported that the White House wants to force changes at USPS as part of the terms of the loan. He said that he won’t allow Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to approve the loan if prices aren’t raised.

Similarly, I was thinking that he's probably done or said things that are morally worse, but if judging for just plain stupidity, this might be his high-water mark. I thought that months or years ago I had reached the point where nothing Trump could do or say could truly shock/stump me anymore, but this whole inject-the-light thing has really broken through that glass floor.

So we had a guy come in to my work to place an order. He was complaining that he was out of business (he rented cold drink machines to parties or something).

Then he went on a rant that a bunch of Obama appointees who never took an economics class was hamstringing the president.

Then he mentioned that he wanted coronavirus now (instead of possibly getting it the summer when lockdowns might lifted) and asked if we knew any big-boobed women with the virus that he could kiss.

Sadly I don't know any.

The bleach thing has been around for awhile in anti-vaxxer and autism circles. Think they use "bleach enemas" on their kids. Trump has dabbled in anti-vax stuff so not terribly surprising that he'd come across this stuff either online or through contacts.

Plus the bleach thing has been around for awhile now in right-wing circles. It's a part of the Qanon thing. Alan Keyes and some others were selling bleach cures for other things too.

I don't think it was something that just came out of the blue.

I am not sure how Wisconsin protests tend to go, but that does not look like "a lot of people" to me. I work right next to the NC capitol building, and most protests are a lot bigger than that.

Trump has tweeted that he's not even sure why he's having these press conferences if all the media are going to do is ask nothing but hostile questions:

My theory:

Trump's press conferences were hurting his numbers. And his people knew that. And they knew that they had to get him to stop. But you can't just tell the President (especially this president) that the problem is him.

So I am sure that they explained it to him as "You are awesome, sir. But the media is distorting you, so you need to stop giving so many press conferences."

So it would make sense that media hatred is at the front of his mind.
