The good thing is, the hubby has realized I'm building a tolerance and is buying stronger stuff. A couple of pints spiked with 100 proof Southern Comfort followed by another pint spiked with Barcardi 151 and I'm feeling pretty damn good

Hit the Spec's liquor store in Austin today to restock. Damn that place is awesome. I used to miss BevMo in Cali, but not anymore. Spec's is the booze store to end all booze stores. I restocked my liquor cabinet, got some awesome snack foods as well. I threw the bottle of Dripping Springs Vodka into the freezer when I got home, and it is nice and chilled now. Coke Zero and vodkas help Friday nights immensely.

I just picked some up. I also picked up something else you've mentioned more than once in this thread...Bulleit Bourbon.

After years and years of swearing that I hated whiskey, I gave it another try a couple of months ago. During that trial, I found that if I mix it with Coke it ain't half bad. In fact, it was pretty damn good! So when I was at the liquor store tonight I decided to pick up some whiskey as well, but I wasn't sure what to get. But when I saw the Bulleit I decided to give it a try...you haven't steered me wrong yet.

Just took my first sip of Bulleit and Coke Zero (I was already going to mix it with that...that wasn't your influence this time

) and it's pretty damn tasty. Glad I picked up the bottle even though all they had was the 1.75L.
