As for me, I'll be spending some time way out West, first column, second row from top. There's a big town called Indian Workers and they have their three shops at level 7 or so. Will be making a bit of money first, then plan on asking for a shopping invite.

I would think so, yeah. As I said, Dolado is a bit behind and at last check, the builders over there are a bit lower skilled than Troutville's, no offense to anyone.

I must say it's mostly what I remember from before the weekend, since I've been on the road doing that quest of mine for the last 3-4 days now.

Also, I just left Troutville so I will be able to get an invite to El Dolado in about 2.5 hours.

I just hit level 24, and the quests have completely dried up. I've got one for planks for Bob, but I haven't gotten anything else for a couple of levels now. I've been saving up skill and ability points for a while in case a tough quest came up. Do I no longer need to bother to do that?

He beat me 35-15 with hits to my gun hand in rounds 4,5, and 8 and one to my free shoulder in round 7. My only hit on him was his gun hand in round 8

I'm stuck at 7 pieces of wood. I've probably only tried 14 hours, but it's still frustrating.

lol I saw that. Very depressing lol. I am just gonna start now. I am not sure if it's luck or not but I have found getting certain items is easier if you're not doing a quest for them.

Yep I agree...
I was stuck at 7 planks forever, then I got 1 plank. So I it for 2 2 hour sessions, got 2 planks the first go round then 6 the next....like as soon as I filled the quest they just came pouring out.

Also, my "son's" lvl 7 shooter has two flags....in 2 hours of fort guarding.

Yeah I got my flag during a two hour stretch just trying to level up at some point.

40 hours of guarding and still nothing. 16 hours of barb wire fencing...and still nothing. This is friggin' ridiculous.

On the fencing, as I understand it the higher the lp on a job the better the chance of getting products (but damned if I can prove that). It's definitely streaky though, I get in runs where I can't miss & then runs where I can't hit (even when I go back to something when my motivation returns).

To add to the annoyance...guarding the fort doesn't do anything for the my bank account or my quest for more experience...ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!

After I get the flag you all better make sure you aren't anywhere near the fort because it is going to be lit up like a Christmas Tree before I leave.
