oh? then this should probably change. Troutville already has the two best builders and are a few building levels ahead. El Dolado could really use mrkilla's help...

As for me, I'll be spending some time way out West, first column, second row from top. There's a big town called Indian Workers and they have their three shops at level 7 or so. Will be making a bit of money first, then plan on asking for a shopping invite.

FM

Yeah, I will start building today. Should I drop Troutville and join El Dolado?

I would think so, yeah. As I said, Dolado is a bit behind and at last check, the builders over there are a bit lower skilled than Troutville's, no offense to anyone.

I must say it's mostly what I remember from before the weekend, since I've been on the road doing that quest of mine for the last 3-4 days now.

No offense taken. I keep trying to catch up to Mustang and Chinaski, but they won't slow down long enough.

lazy bill just beat me in a duel. Add him to the list of targets.

Also, I just left Troutville so I will be able to get an invite to El Dolado in about 2.5 hours.

What's the dueling level and armament for lazy bill (can't access The West from work). Assuming he won't kick my arse, I'll happily extract some vengeance when I get home tonight.

We will be happy to have you, killa. I, too, am trying to catch up on the labor points, but I can't seem to make enough money to switch enough points over. I am a lot better along than I used to be though

dola,

feels like we are getting to the point where we are big enough to attract attention from the bigger towns, but not developed enough to really compete at this point.

Hmmm.. something up with the game? I had a bunch of items in my queue, now they are all gone and if I click on anything, I get a big red 'TRUE' across the top..

Edit: Not sure what happened. All seems fine now.

I got about the same, and another $117 off of the prospector chick in that town just north of dragon rider's. Enough to get me to level 23.

Looking for an invite once again. Have some extra products to sell off, and would like to take a shot at dueling as well.

Crazyboy Joe is the name, and I'm literally standing on top of Troutville as I type this.

Thanks for the invite CW. I just dropped $650 into the town's coffers. Do you need me to leave town to free up space?

I just hit level 24, and the quests have completely dried up. I've got one for planks for Bob, but I haven't gotten anything else for a couple of levels now. I've been saving up skill and ability points for a while in case a tough quest came up. Do I no longer need to bother to do that?

Can I get an invite for a shopping trip to Troutville? Or does El Dolado need the $$ more?

Probably just depends on which you are closer to at this point. We have a little over $1300 in El Dolado right now.

I got SilvezF good.

Took 204 HP from him, he took 89 from me.

DeToxRox wins the duel, gains 79 experience points and steals $12 from SilvezF.

kanashintolic wins the duel and gains 38 experience points. Luke Warmwater did not carry any cash and kanashintolic walks away without taking any money

He beat me 35-15 with hits to my gun hand in rounds 4,5, and 8 and one to my free shoulder in round 7. My only hit on him was his gun hand in round 8

I'm stuck at 7 pieces of wood. I've probably only tried 14 hours, but it's still frustrating.

lol I saw that. Very depressing lol. I am just gonna start now. I am not sure if it's luck or not but I have found getting certain items is easier if you're not doing a quest for them.

Yep I agree...
I was stuck at 7 planks forever, then I got 1 plank. So I it for 2 2 hour sessions, got 2 planks the first go round then 6 the next....like as soon as I filled the quest they just came pouring out.

Also, my "son's" lvl 7 shooter has two flags....in 2 hours of fort guarding.

40 hours of guarding and still nothing. 16 hours of barb wire fencing...and still nothing. This is friggin' ridiculous.

Hmm ... I think guarding the fort just sucks period. 2% ain't much of a chance.
On the fencing, as I understand it the higher the lp on a job the better the chance of getting products (but damned if I can prove that). It's definitely streaky though, I get in runs where I can't miss & then runs where I can't hit (even when I go back to something when my motivation returns).

To add to the annoyance...guarding the fort doesn't do anything for the my bank account or my quest for more experience...ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!

After I get the flag you all better make sure you aren't anywhere near the fort because it is going to be lit up like a Christmas Tree before I leave.
