OK, I am an ordinary passanger.

I chose to stay on the boat day 2 because I partied alot day 1 and wanted to be in characture.

At that time I was aproached by the captain and he explained to me the first mate had been killed and would I want to come to work for him. He said he would let me know when I was needed and I would always be given the option of refusing the task.

Since I was a vanilla villager I figured why not so I chose to do that. Turn 3 I was given the choice to go on an excursion with all the other passangers or stay and help the captain. I stayed on the ship to help the captain and was given the task of inspecting the ropes. I found that many of them were cut and fixed them. I strongly feel had I chose to go on an excursion it would have delayed our trip.

The next day the captain was pre occupied with escorting Swaggs off the ship so I went flightseeing.

the next day the captain asked me to cook which I obviously did.

My "reward" for helping the captain was he would put more emphasis on my choice of who to vote off.

I moved my vote to BK the other day because I was curious just how weighted my vote would be.

Today I tied it on purpose so that I could prove I was telling the truth, that was why I went to Cronin, so it would be a tie.

Obviously others messed that up.

I was obviously surprised when Cronin was also booted, I assumed he would have just surpassed BK in the voting and in essence duking him.

This entire game has me completely baffled

I chose to stay on the ship today, soak in the hot tub and veg/watch tv in my room. As of right now I have nothing to report and no event to respond to. If I get any interesting information I'll share it...

I don't think it's numbers (re: "couting for 3") for Lathum's. I think that on today only whoever he voted would get booted no matter what.

As far as "needing 8", who know, maybe we needed 9? There were around 12 votes on Swaggs so we don't know the exact threshold.

I'm not saying it's for sure false, but I can see where it's do-able for you to come out with that after the fact and align some backstory to what has already happened to you. I'd say I maybe 70% believe you right now.

Re-read Lathum's explanation. Only his vote today was given extra weight because of his good deed of cooking dinner.

The captain told me from day 2 ( the first day I agreed to help) that he would give my vote extra consideration.

Thats why I switched to barkeep the other day, I wanted to test the theory.

I think Cronin got the boot because it was a closer vote

I didn't say it cleared him. But it's plausible enough when coupled with what I mentioned earlier about him seeming more villager today than he had been to me. You give it 70%, I'll give it 80% if you're gonna make me put a damn value to it.

And I have a pretty good idea who he's making sick. That will drop him back down in my eyes obviously. Hopefully he'll have to clean up my puke.
