This feels like a game Georgia should win but won't (as usual against Saban).

I won't pick against my team, bit I will say the same thing that I said before the SEC championship game. Until Georgia beats Alabama, there is no reason to believe they will.

I can't believe Georgia is favored over Alabama.

I'm picking GA but yeah, won't be a big surprise if they choke again. Got my boiled peanuts ready to go.

I'm feeling GA needs to beat AL two times in a row to really get the "jinx" off them now. But let's focus on one game at a time.

I'm taking Alabama. They are both stacked, but I like Alabama with the better QB and Saban being so familiar with Georgia at this point. I don't think it will be particularly close.

I don't know if I should be, but I'm excited to see West Virginia hire Graham Harrell as their offensive coordinator. Neal Brown needed to focus more on the overall management of the program and less on the offense, so I'm hoping for a couple of good years from Harrell (before he moves on to better things) and that he can potentially bring in some USC players that may be disgruntled with the coaching change (may be wishful thinking there, but we could use some road graders).

Harrell is a surprise to me. It's not often Air Raid head coaches give up playcalling, let alone full control of the offense. Props to Neal Brown.

Ok I bet Georgia officially. I know I'll punch myself for this later and say "of course". But a lot of really smart people seem to think that they are a better team than Alabama this season.

Still have time to boil them!

Kroger sometimes have canned ones but prefer to do it myself. Peanuts, water, salt and 2-3 hours of covered simmering.

It was that 1980 National Championship season that made me a football fan. Really a sports fan in general. I had watched very little football before that year, but the excitement of Hershel, Run Lyndsey Run, and the number one ranking got me hooked on the sport. It is still hard to fathom after decades of frustrations, of promise, of almost, we are once again here.
Man, I hope this is the year.

ESPN said about 2/3 of tickets were on Bama but almost 3/4 of the money is on Georgia. Weird

Two possessions in and already one team looks ready to play, and the other looks lost.

For those of you who can endure torture, tune over to ESPN2 film room to listen to the incoherent babbling of Jimbo Fisher, with some of his staff mumbling occasionally, and the rest of them daydreaming or asleep.

Saban's so bored with winning titles that he's decided to do it the ultimate way - 21-10 on the strength of 7 FGs.

This game feels like it's over once Alabama scores 1 TD.

Not sure what the bit of clock (mis)management by Bama was all about

Can't ask much more from the defense so far. Georgia's offense needs to do something here.

Public bettors biggest mistake is overreaction to one game. UGA were 7/7.5 point favs the first time they met on a neutral site. So.... You found the value. But value doesnt mean it is a certain winner.

The QB is the only dude on the field who looks out of place. Just speaks to how great the rest of the team is that they got this far with him at QB.

If that was a fumble, then the first play of that game was a scoop and score. Alabama's been holding the whole game, but some how Georgia's had a thousand calls against them. This is just complete crap.
