Bek, you need to take that vote off yourself. You messed up, fine. We need to move on and now you are the only confirmed villager so far. It would not be smart for us to vote you off. I'm also wondering if the no-kill is because the sherriff protected someone last night.

I agree that losing the judge would probably benefit us but we really don't have much to go by. That was a most unfortunate turn of evens but at least we didn't lose anyone else last night.

Maybe they were looting. That's what outlaws do, right?

When the judge is alive, any person we lynch goes to jail, but we don't find out if they are good or bad. However the bad guys will know. Also, as long as the judge is alive, the outlaws can jailbreak. If the judge is thrown into prison, he will be alive, but will not have any way of escaping. However, all lynches will be true lynches (no jailbreak risk), and we will find out whether the person we killed is good or bad.
Does anyone disagree with this? If not, the judge should step forward and identified themselves so they can be incarcerated. |

I'd imagine there has to be something to say for having the ability to release wrongfully voted on innocents.

Personally i think we need the judge to come foward...from all i can read he wouldve been helpful if we had the seer to clear people in the jail...since we dont have that anymore, i think he just further delays the process of killig outlaws and gives them a chance to execute a jail break...any thoughts?

thats a crappy move...asking him to come forward so we can get rid of him basically...would you if you were the judge? Give up your game?

This game is taking a very bad turn for the worst here. Us good guys are going to have barely any secret roles left after the first 2 days.

I'm not nuts about the rules of this game. The judge role is of really dubious use to the villagers. Basically he can free people, but who cares because you can't tell if they are good or bad unless you kill them or the seer scans them. But why would the seer scan someone in jail?
Basically, the game should work where you find out the identity of someone when they are put in jail (like you have a trial before you jail them or something). Otherwise, the judge feature of this game is useless to the villagers, because all it does is keep bad guys alive so the outlaw leader can jailbreak them. |

Sorry Realdeal, your role would be a great one if the investigator was still around. It would give everyone a 2nd chance, and allow us to KNOW the bad guys we have locked up. This is going to be a very difficult game for us to win either way, but I like our chances better with you in jail(due to getting to see voting blocks if we get an outlaw.)
Sorry man, but thanks for the reveal. I'll remember this in future games. Vote Realdeal

And the one good thing is, I can't vote, but I can still participate and post, and everyone will know that I am trustworthy. Jail sucks, but it's better than dying.

Pass, the trust of my role will be easy to figure out. If next lynch, the guy is killed and not put in jail, then I am indeed the judge. If the next lynch the guy is put in jail, then I clearly can't be the judge, because once the judge is jailed no one else gets locked up. |

Might as well talk about something else since RealDeal is pretty much sacrified.
Last night had two possibilities: 1) Sheriff protected someone. 2) Outlaws found the MoLMF (Man of Loose Moral Fiber) #2 is slightly more likely than #1. Even the sheriff doesn't know if his bodyguarding was successful... only the outlaws do. With that said, I don't think it is worthwhile at this point to have the sheriff step up... so we'll basically have to let this go for now. Another thing: When do we want the witness to use his role? I think he should NOT do it tonight, and then tomorrow we'll see how things are going. But with the judge in jail, I'd like to give us villagers a shot of offing a bad guy without the witness revealing himself. More musing: -Blade hesistated to have RealDeal step up, and then quickly changed his opinion once RealDeal actually said he was the judge. -Passacaglia expressed some doubt, too. -SackAttack, the Investigater, DID initially go against pennwiseb on Day 1. I think if we get stuck at some point, that needs to be considered. -Mr. W -- a normally talkative and tricky player, has been very quiet and straightforward thus far.

I've been quiet because my access at night has been nonexistent, so I'm doing a lot of catching up in my free time; it's early in the game, so there's less to analyze; and I'm spending a lot of time getting my house up to speed, so I'm not doing as much thinking about the game.
I think the whole lynching vs. jailing comes down to a sort of a prisoner's dilemma issue... from the point of view of any individual, it's better for them from a survival point of view to be putting folks in jail, but from the point of view of the "team" winning, the inability of the outlaws to jailbreak their number out of jail is a big win. One thing we need to be wary of, not only are we wasting one day of voting by putting RealDeal away right now, we may have to waste another putting him back in the clink if the outlaws decide to break him out.

That said, I think it's probably more of a positive to avoid any possibility of a setback due to a jailbreak, so Vote RealDeal.

Today is not your day, Wednesday. The rules say that people in jail don't go free if the judge is jailed.
(That remark about today not being your day is because today is Tuesday, not Wednesday. That is all.) |

The way I look at it, if that happens it isn't a wasted day since they will have wasted their night action breaking him out and we will be back to square 1. It will just add another day of posts to analyze. Those are my 2 cents.

If they break me out of jail, that's great: they waste their best power to free a good guy. I wholeheartedly urge the outlaws to jailbreak me.

As a clarification. In the moment that the judge is jailed/killed, the people in jail do not go free. If the Outlaws do a jailbreak everyone in jail is freed.
