Does Curry make sense for the Seahawks? I don't know that much about Seattle, so I don't know.

Curry is not as good as Mayo or Willis when they came out, imo. Still gonna be good, but he isnt a be all end all LB prospect.

Nice pick for Seattle.

The interesting thing is where does Sanchez go, he could fall to the 49ers

Still would have been better than Stafford.

Man, Seattle is spending a lot of money at LB - I wonder if they'll revoke Leroy Hill's franchise tag now.

I agree with Kiper, Curry is the best of the draft and I think for the Seahawks, that's a great gift at 4.

Yeah, this pick will really have an effect on the next 8 I think. Although it probably really helps value for the Cleveland pick.

Steve Young is obnoxious. Actually, if it weren't for him, I would probably like the ESPN crew because Boomer is usually toned down on these days, I like Kiper, and the staff they have out covering everything is solid.

He'll only be in the league for 15 years if he has passion, and I guarantee these teams have checked into his football passion.

Steve Young is obnoxious? Steve Young is one of the few analysts that actually knows what he's talking about (at least in terms of evaluating players)

Mangini trading with the Jets - good for him not to have any spite there. Either way, props to the Browns for being able to move down - surprised Seattle couldn't do that.

Have you caught him today regarding either passion for the game or Mark Sanchez? I agree, he knows players, but he's being too center stage in those two instances.

Gosslein had his article the other day saying talking to people around the league that most do not rate him higher then Mayo last year.

that's true

meh - i wish they'd hold the draft in LA or something - somewhere where there wasn't a partisan crowd - the Giants/Jets fans overwhelm the place and it's obnoxious

Dola, I think Curry will be very good, but if he doesn't rush the passer he's just Lance Briggs that's not worth #4.

Bold move. Hope it works out for them but I have my doubts.

The next QB to go will be Josh Freeman, and that team will be calling a sucker bet.

DT- I agree with you there. I actually would like to see them rotate it to either the Super Bowl winning city OR the first pick's city just to break up the usual Giants/Jets crowds.

I keep thinking that Freeman will be another Vince Young. And no, Young's career is by no means over but it did take a serious step backwards.

I took Gosselin's article to mean at this point in time (after Mayo being in the league for a year), that most teams would select Mayo over Curry.
