It was a fitting end to the regular season as the driver who has dominated, won his 5th race. Trick Dickle held off challenges from Chris Snow and Cannon Pace to win yet again. Pace challenged for the win, which he needed to make the Chase, and came up just short. Helen Wheel, Kerri Kong, and Bo Duke had solid top ten finishes to solidify themselves in the Chase.

The Chase has been set. Trick Dickle dominated the first 15 and will enter the Chase with a solid amount of bonus points. He is followed by Nick Phillips, Chris Snow, Helen Wheels, Ace Idol, Bo Duke, Mustafa Henderson, Andrew Foley, Travis Elkin and Kerri Kong. The wild card spots belong to Dexter Jackson and Deacon Palmer.

Great race for Dixieland taking 4th and 9th. Luke just fell too far behind to early to make a run at the Chase. The team will put all it's energy behind Bo now as the General Lee tries to make good ol' boys everywhere proud!

Helen comes into the Chase as 1 of 2 drivers without a DNF, having run the most laps of any driver this season. Will consistency be a winning strategy in a 5-race Chase?

A couple of early wrecks drastically changed the landscape of this race. (Hopefully I can get the video to work for those). Chase contenders Nick Phillips and Deacon Palmer were knocked out of the race in those wrecks and other contenders such as Trick Dickle and Bo Duke were left with badly damaged cars. The few who survived the wrecks unscathed were able to pull away from the pack and dominate the last half of the race. In the end it was a two car breakaway with non-Chase driver Kyle Kappe holding off Travis Elkin for the win. Elkin was the highest finishing Chase driver in 2nd while Helen Wheels was 5th, Andrew Foley 6th, Mustafa Henderson 7th, Dexter Jackson 8th and Ace Idol 10th.

For most of the day it was a two car battle between Nick Phillips and Chris Snow. After a caution Snow and Phillips got onto a different pit schedule. Ten other drivers were on the different pit schedule with Snow and after Phillips and the rest of the field had to pit Snow and the other ten drivers were able to stay out and stretch out the fuel mileage. Snow had no challenges as he took the win. 2nd through 7th were other drivers who stayed out, Phillips was the first who made the final pit stop in the final order. 9th through 12th stayed out and Trick Dickle in 13th was the 2nd car in the order who made the last stop.

A 16th-place finish is not what the doctor ordered considering Helen qualified 8th, but it seems that she was in the unlucky pit group. She's also only 7 places or so behind the Chase lead -- not too shabby.

Bo Duke did everything he could today to keep himself in the running for the title. He led the majority of the final half of the race and took the easy victory while most of the rest of the Chase field faltered. Deacon Palmer in 4th and Nick Phillips in 10th were the only other Chase drivers in the top ten. Ace Idol, Andrew Foley, Dexter Jackson, Mustafa Henderson, Trick Dickle, Chris Snow and Travis Elkin all failed to finish.

Ace Idol takes the lead with only 2 races remaining but holds a very small lead over the rest of the field. It's still anyone's championship to win.
