Well, it would be cool if we had a wolf as one of the two in the runoff so they would be inclined to save a member.
I'll cast a vote now, and be willing to move it later if there is any good reason to do so ... not sure what it would be, short of a reveal. VOTE DARTH VILUS |

None that I think is particularly compelling, Telle.
Neither of them is around at this point either to offer up any kind of defense, reveal, whatever. |

A streaming video of the Jester and his crooked smile appears on the ceiling.
He fiddles with something in his ear. "Is that right? Oh my yes! You don't say?!" "You chose the orange room?! Aha! Ahahha!" |

Single file, single file. You are ushered through the door of your choice, the orange door. As you enter, the frosted glass is tinted orange, but once everyone is inside it immediately turns pitch black. It is difficult to see further than a few feet away from you.
Suddenly a video feed pops up on the wall you just came from, showing Darth Vilus left behind. He seems at the same time resigned to his fate and very nervous about what that fate might be. The room glows a blinding white and he shields his eyes. The white fades. Silence. Darth looks around, confused, hoping for some stroke of luck. Swiiiiiiish. Swiiiiiiiish. There is nothing visible yet, but the sound repeats. Swiiiiiiiish. Swiiiiiiiiish. Darth braces himself, scanning the walls. A grate detracts from the wall and hovers towards Darth, moving slowly. He examines it curiously as it hangs suspended in midair. Without warning, it launches towards Darth and directly through him. Darth mumbles something incoherent as his flesh begins to collapse and separate around him. Darth Vilus was a vanilla cube rat! |

Now, here's the fun part!
For the day two voting, you are not allowed to vote for someone in this thread. You may only vote for someone who has been split. |

There are three door options.
The first is yellow, has the letter Z and a number sequence: 1 5 4 2 4 4 1 4 6 1 The second is brown, has the letter F and a number sequence: 5 7 5 5 2 2 9 7 8 7 The third is maroon, has the letter T and a number sequence: 6 1 8 6 6 3 8 5 4 9 |

(I understand this has taken a crazy confusing turn, feel free to ask questions via PM or in the thread. The game is the same for day two except you can only vote to lynch someone in the opposite thread, and you are not allowed to read that thread today)

You know, I'm pretty darn sure I'm tired of being a lynch candidate day one. That's like 3 games in a row now. Pretty darn sure Zinto and DV feel the same way.

Oh and although 154 isn't a valid area code, the other two are so we're still batting 5 for 6 which is a statistical oddity...

lol... cool. I was wondering how you were going to make this game not last a couple of months with 20 players and no regular NK
Seriously, I like this just because we can really engage in some analysis of people without worrying about them getting defensive and drawing heat on yourself. |

Wow, well, all the people who I would want to vote for are in this thread.
J23 - Cast the third vote on DV to make it a three way tie at three votes, although there was a reasonable justification for it. However, that justification would also give cover fire for him voting for DV if either CF or Zinto is his partner (assuming we're looking at some sort of 2-2 setup for wolves.) Hoops - Cast the vote that ultimately decided the lynch. He was in a pretty unenviable spot if he's a villager, though, as we all know, but it's not a good piece of evidence. I don't know if wolf hoops would be in a rush to do this, though; it's a pretty good way to get lynched D2, but if you only know of one other wolf...you pretty much have to take risks to save your partner, I would think. CF & Zinto - The other candidates in a D1 lynch that was somewhat close are always going to be at least somewhat suspect. All this stuff would have more power in a game where the wolves were more coordinated, though. I'm probably going to cast a standard D2 vote for someone out of the people who voted for DV - as this can only be dward, mckerney, or Telle, there aren't a lot of choices there, and Telle's vote makes perfect sense as a villager, so I'm probably not voting that way. Gut is to vote for mckerney, but that's not saying much. Mechanically for today, I don't know how much it's worth speculating on the consequences of the split-vote. Either we're going to get a double lynch (which would seem reasonable as a consequence for failure) or the lynch is going to go to whichever person that gets the most votes, depending on which half is more coordinated. Or maybe the other half doesn't get a lynch at all, or we don't get a lynch at all...who can say. We're best served making the best vote we can assuming that our thread's votes are going to kill someone, and whatever happens with the other thread happens. As for where to go here, I'll let the more analytically inclined people take the first whack at it. |

I wonder if we're split for a while until we make a choice that leads us back into the same room as the other group (i.e. they choose the same room as us tomorrow)? Or if we both pick a room and then after the lynch(es) we will join back up?

This is probably pretty bad news for the villagers, as the wolves can likely still swap PMs and have some ability to coordinate across threads in terms of creating arguments, manipulate votes on slightly broader scale than villagers can. Bad news since there is a pretty good chance of flushing two villagers tomorrow as a result.
Oh well, hope for the best I suppose. |

Considering that they have the same room choices as us, I'm inclined to think we are going to have a combined vote for the next room and that this is just a one day gimmick/punishment. |

First thought is that we'll join back up tomorrow automagically especially since the Jester said it was a day 2 thing. That doesn't necessarily mean that we won't be split again in the future even day 3, but that's what I get out of it. |
