Good news folks-Johnny was indeed in the home city of his favorite team, Miami! He has been found!

Two hours later, both of the remaining groups arrive in Miami.
Johnny93g was kidnapped and brought to Miami to watch football and baseball, but not hockey. Good job, team. The Mole has been thwarted again.

The team has now accumulated $95,000.
In the future, do not expect an exemption from a test for completing a task. I or The Mole may offer an exemption to a player at some point, just don't expect them. Additionally, I will not comment on if an exemption has been offered until after the completion of a task.

Congratulations, again, to the team.
I need three people. One who is fearless, one who likes coaching, and the most trusted person among you. Make your choices and get a simple majority, and we'll continue.

I nominate Johnny93g as the fearless one. He was pretty fearless while being kidnapped by the Mole!

This task will be worth a total of $60,000.
Our fearless guy, the one that likes coaching, and the most trusted person among you are our observers. The other six players will each play a football game in whatifsports.com. The Mole will send me his choice of team first via PM. I will then post his selection here. Our six remaining players will each select a team to play against The Mole. Each victory by the team is worth $10,000. Our three observers may each choose to substitute their own team in place of one of the six. The three observers don't have to do so, however. Once all six matches are set, I will simulate the games and post results here.

Can we choose a team from any season available, and who gets to be the home teams?

1950-2004, any team should be fine. If there's a problem, I'll let you know. The Mole will be the home team.

The Mole has chosen his team.
1986 Giants. The six players may now submit their teams. Edit: The Mole made a mistake. Since no team has made an input, The Mole is choosing: 1985 Bears.

Gotta go with a homer pick and put the 04-05 Patriots up there. I think Charlie Weis will find a way to score against the Bears D

The Mole has offered me an exemption. If I accept, I am exempt from taking the Mole test, but he gets to pick my team for me (which would probably be a horrid team). He would then get to use my team as a substitute for any of your teams.
I'll pass on the exemption, and take my chances on the Mole test. |

Silly Mole making mistakes and being turned down for an exemption.

I figure nominating myself for most trustful, then jumping on the exemption would have been contradictory of me. Plus I knew we'd lose $10,000, and I think I have a decent shot of avoiding losing the test.
I'll take the Super Bowl Champion 2000 Baltimore Ravens. |

The six players will have first dibs against The Mole. You may then choose to swap for any team after that. If any of the others want the 2000 Ravens, I'll have to give them to him.

Dola.
Now is a good time for the other three to replace a team if need be. Those three need to notify me via this thread if they intend to use that power or not.

While I'm worried about how the game does with very recent teams, I think we should only have Super Bowl winners. Therefore I will replace the 1990 Bills with the 85 Bears. This will also give us a more defense oriented team since defense wins championships .
