I think it was RealDeal who pointed this out earlier - there was some movement (not all of it Jeff) after Qwik was up to four votes. Just something to ponder if we end up lynching someone else who turns out to be a villager. And, yes, I know this cuts both ways.

If we don't lynch tonight, unless a seer gets lucky and then outs themselves we still have nothing to go on tomorrow.
Therefore, UNVOTE Fouts VOTE qwikshot Although I am putting myself on a limb, I really feel this is best for all us villagers. There is one other villager who can vouch that I am a good guy.

Yeah, that was gutsy as hell Henry -- you just took a giant step forward as a candidate if Qwik isn't a bad guy.
Although RA makes a good point -- there might be some secret votes going on.

Well the rings have to be used during the normal voting period, so they're done. Note for tomorrow, if you want to use a ring during voting, PM me during the day.
Final voting Briand - Lathum Superman - MrBug Ardent - (4)Schmidty, Coffee Warlord, qwikshot, superman RealDeal - Blade6119 Hoopsguy - Kingfc22 Qwikshot - (5)hoopsguy, eaglesfan27, RealDeal, ardent, henry296 digamma - BrianD Raiders Army - fouts Mr. Wednesday - SnDvls Sndvls - (2)dubb93, Mr. Wednesday Eaglesfan27 - Vince Lathum - digamma fouts - (3) Raiders Army, jeff061, jeff061 The villagers argue all day and just about everyone is mentioned as a potential suspect. In the end it takes a last minute vote change for Qwikshot to be named the victim. He seems strangely silent as he is strung up, as if sure he wouldn't be able to change anyone's minds at this point. It turns out to be all for the best though, as Qwikshot was a Sorceror! Qwikshot had the Notebook of the Detective, which has been given to the King for distribution. A sorceror, not "THE" sorceror - reading too much into this or does this sound like the apprentice decided to go the sorceror route as well?

Well I hate to rain on Henry but it smells fishy to me.
The wolves don't know who the sorcerer is, so I consider it a strong possibility that ardent or fouts is a wolf. If henry is a wolf it would be a clever move to switch because it would seem WAY to obvious. By doing this he deflects any possible last minute switches that would kill a wolf. I think it is just dumb luck we got the sorcerer, so it makes Henry look even better. I think whoever has the power should watch Henry tonight. That is all, I will now go take a bath in A1 because I am probably dinner. |

OK, not to tick off the king - but did anyone see anything in the rules that indicated that the crown must start with a non-wolf? If the items are assigned randomly, couldn't the Crown have ended up in the hands of the wolves or Sorcerors? I would really like to have this be a baseless concern, as it would be great to have one player on my list to not worry about in this game for a period of time. Of course, the wolves could use the Sword of the Pirate to take the Crown and get the extra vote + lynch protection. Anyone using the Pirate Sword to assume the Crown is likely to be a big, fat target of the remaining villager items if they don't have an overwhelming argument for why they are just an honest villager trying to help the cause. |

Henry, how would another villager be able to vouch for you? I didn't see any kind of seer powers that work during the day. Quote:
Rings = double votes Saber = Duel, none took place Staff = Lightning wound, none took place Rules also state there are no special roles assigned to villagers. Nor are there any items with PM powers that can be used by villagers until night. So ... help me out here. How would there be another villager that can vouch for you? |

Well Hoops isn't getting it!! .
In any case what you said I believe is true. All I can do is my best to put the villagers in a position to win. But yeah, I'll likely be dodging bullets with people discriminating my every vote and who I give items out to. |

The item that I have gives me the power to talk with another person in the village. Based on our conversations today that person hopefully believes that I am a villager.

Didn't you vote for Ardent in Post #166 out of resentment for his use of a random number generator in an earlier WW? Although by taking me out of the mix it is not purely random ... FWIW, I don't have any real reason to think that you are not a villager - it is statistically improbable for the crown to fall into evil hands out of the gate. But if Peregrine was looking to spice up the game then ... who knows. At the moment I'm more intrigued about the answer to my Henry question. Of course, asking questions like this on Day 1 is what got me converted in X-Com ... |

If someone wants to step forward and suggest they chatted with Henry today that would make things more ... interesting.
1.) There was a goof-up on the item and it was listed incorrectly. In which case Henry did talk during the day to someone. 2.) There was no mix-up at all, but a wolf decides to try and help out Henry. 3.) There was a goof-up on the item, it was listed incorrectly, but Henry talked to a wolf who is laughing his way to the bank at Henry being hung out to dry here. Anyone else have another scenario I'm missing? |

4.) Goof up by Henry and a real villager...both don't realize the item can't be activated until night?
Or is that covered elsewhere?

Well, I guess this "rookie" has been vindicated. I would suggest now examining the people who changed votes away from Qwik when the voting was tight.
