More offensive than calling him SkyDork? I'm intrigued...

No offense to Ben, but what he said at the end of the MJ4H thread, RendeR wasn't the only one to at least think that.

It's a bit ridiculous to drag the dirty laundry into this thread. This drama goes to accomplish nothing but the exclusion of people from the community who a lot of people (me included) would not like to see come to pass.

It'd be really cool to have a little "FOFC Bloodbowl Leagues" forum for us to set stuff up in.
Perhaps after both leagues have been through a season or two we can have a "champions" league with the top halves of both tables competing for the FOFC championship in a "slam"-style tournament? |

Nice game, EF27. We both had our chances but we both played some good D. Definitely an earned draw.

Good game to you, too. We both had some unlucky breaks and made some good defensive plays.

Congrats to KWhit for winning 2-1, it was a really fun game. I'm still kicking myself for the screwup at the end of the first half.

That had to be the saddest, most pathetic excuse for a dice game I've ever been a part of.
Calis takes it 1-0 but neither of us could do anything in teh seconde half. The ball sat on the ground for what? 3 turns straight because we kept failing blocks and dodges and what not. I had a couple great chances to make a single dodge or handoff and failed every single time. Totally stupendously ridiculously awful. |

RendeR and I just played the single worst Blood Bowl game I've seen yet. I'm not exaggerating either. I think RendeR might have made one roll of any consequence the entire game.
I had one 2 Die block against the same guy that I missed 3 turns in a row! I also had a 3 block die that I used with a reroll and got 5 skulls and one both down. The ball sat about a quarter of the field away from my goal for most of the entire 2nd half with neither of us being able to pick it up and move. Casualty after casualty. I can't express how bad this game was. I eeked out a 1-0 win, the only TD being at the 8th turn of the 1st half that I did everything in my power to not score with bad rolls. |

Is "hogging my missus's laptop" one of those odd and somewhat complex English euphemisms for doing something naughty?

Same feeling here. I hadn't ever played the table top game and my only experience at all was the old game which I haven't played in forever. I made a lot of mistakes but this is a game that has pretty good balancing rules IMHO and I'm looking forward to building a team with a bit more thought behind it. Time constraints leave me really happy with the one game a week schedule right now so hopefully we'll start another one up after this one ends.

Feral Squirrels take down Chaos Engine, 4-0, in what appeared to be a rigged game.
Good game, Marc.... shame you couldnt get any fair dice rolls. Not one injury for the wimpy Skavens, but 3 for the Orcs? |

To be honest I was trying to sort out some home insurance at the same time as play ad eve without the bad rolls you'd have steamrollered me because I mad some bad decisions (not least the throw which resulted in your 3rd TD).
Still got myself a levelled up Blitzer out of it - so its not all bad |

Week 5 Matchups
Gertbeef's Minions (12) vs Leaf Bay Leapers (5) HiHoes (4) vs Mordheim Maulers (1) Feral Squirrels (8) vs Bucktooth Brigands (7) Chaos Engine (1) vs Eaglefan's Raiders (5) Here's the situation: Calis can clinch the season 1 trophy with two games to spare (and the 100K first place prize) if he wins and the Squirrels/Brigands game goes to a draw. I'm going to set a goal of a week from today (8/3) to get games done by. Extensions will be granted as need be. Handicaps coming up in a moment.
