GAME 9 (@ COLORADO)
In Game 9, Colorado hoped for a little home cooking. With Pablo Gonzalez on the mound hoping to notch his third victory of the postseason, New York sent ace Steve Dooley out for the matchup. IN the first inning, the two teams tied 2-2. |

GAME 9 (@ COLORADO)
But that's as close as the game would ever be again. Colorado put up 3 runs in the bottom of the third, two more in the fifth and sixth innings and three more in the bottom of the eighth. Final Score: Colorado 12, New York 3 The Colorado Rancheros capture their first-ever FOOL Classic title, knocking off the defending champions 5 games to 4. Congratulations to both teams! Congrats to Colorado. That starting pitching did the trick. Glad it went the full 9, though.

Wow, that kicked butt. And what was done just because of posts in the thread, I loved the last game being carried over onto another page.
Congrats Colorado!

File is up now, gang. Another great season in the books. This league is far surpassing my initial expectations, that's for sure.

Wow, we did it! Woohoo! I had high expectations for this team, but it really went beyond that when I stayed in contention down the stretch. Everything since has just been piling on top. I'm ecstatic to have pulled this one off. Congrats to Tell on a terrific series and season. It was an honor to beat a proven champion squad as he has. It took an amazing two-game comeback over a top notch opponent to pull this one off. And welcome to the superstardom, Pablo Gonzalez! Thanks, everyone, for the kind words and good luck this offseason. Just an FYI...not much is going to change with Colorado in the offseason.
