I'm not getting why some teams lost PPs. "No Sanctions" had far more votes than any one team, so no gamewide sanctions should have been imposed. Saboteurs, IIRC, cause a -15 PP deduction. What am I missing?

I don't think so. He beat a team, which gave him 35 powerpoints, then he lost 10 powerpoints.

Duh...I get it now. The wolves struck and split their -50 point sabotage amongst CR, RendeR, Alan T and St. Cronin. This accounts for 40 of those points. I don't see the other -10.

I wasn't notified that I was hit by a detractor at all, so not entirely sure where my -10 came from there.

They would not get any powerpoints, but they would get a win. I should add that the team with positive powerpoints can also throw the game, and the team with zero or less powerpoints would win.

I have no idea what to make of that. Was I the only person to submit a private poll? I'm not surprised that the wolves hit so many different people (they likely don't have a much better feel than we do) but why those people?

I did not submit a private poll, I had planned to but spaced out on the early deadline.

Ntndeacon did not show up as a retractor, and I will assume since cronin got hit that it was sabotage and he is not a detractor either. That leaves either Clapasma or Mr.W in that conference (unless I got unlucky and ended up with a conference that has a retractor scout that shows up as a good team to scans of course if ntn is not a scout for his conference, then he is good.) Since its a 50/50 shot, and neither team are in my division, its worth the sanction vote.

I'm going to once again schedule a non-human team for today.

I've been thinking about this as well. The biggest link I can come up with is that I understand that all 4 are considered quality WW players.

I strongly suspect that at least one of them is a wolf. Wolves want to finish 2nd in their conferences, anyway, so taking a tiny hit now is no big deal.

If a conference chooses to have a Championship game does a team, in effect, play 2 games on Day 7 (the last of their conference games and the Conference Championship?).

A conference championship game is just like any other game between two human coaches, except for that the losing team will lose a number of powerpoints equal to the number of the powerpoints of the winning team divided by 7

Just a quote from the rules that looked like it needed explaining. In a conference championship game, the winning team receives powerpoints like normal, but the loser actually loses powerpoints, rather than not gaining any like in any other game.
