Tough day for wade...he's the first with 3 players knocked out. Tougher day for VCU though.

I got a big performance out of Byars, and more importantly, he'll be sticking around for at least another game.

22 points early on for J.R. Reynolds. I think it's safe to say he was the steal of this draft.

Except that he's now gone ...

Dodged a bullet, almost got completely destroyed this round, luckily JaJuan Smith and the Vols hung on.

That was my attempt at reverse psychology.

I'm pretty confident about Kansas getting past UK. Oregon looks like it will have a tough game vs Winthrop, but I'd be thrilled if I left this round with 5 still playing.

After me being cocky having 6 players after round 1, I'm in trouble with only 3 left...

Logan on the other hand looks in control right now with his 5 remaining players.

CDR of Memphis is marked out for me -- it should be Augustin of Texas instead.

Good catch, thanks...fixed. This might be a good time to mention that it's entirely possible to have missed a couple points here and there, since I've been updating as the games hit 0.0, and sometimes point totals change when the box scores become "official." So it might be a good idea for everyone to double-check their point totals for accuracy. If it's wrong, it's wade's fault .

I did notice that I forgot to "eliminate" Abrahms from sooner's roster. Sorry about that.

I like where I stand with my 5 players still in action. Unfortunately I'll definitely lose either Green or Byars on Thursday, and despite Byars' great production so far, I'll have to root for Green since his team has the potential to go further.

Updated the spreadsheet through the early games...will take care of the later games in the morning since I'm going to be struggling to stay up to watch.

This time I'm sober.

After Florida goes on for their 2nd straight win, I present the winner of FOFC Top Gun Part Deux, Year 1:

ram

Congrats!

Abbreviated final standings:

1. ram - 372 points
2. RPI Fan - 338 points
3. Logan - 308 points

Items of note:

- Only one player broke the 100 point barrier: Ron Lewis of OSU, a 4th round pick by ram.
- For all 5th and 6th round picks, Lee Humphrey of Florida led the pack with 75 points. He was a 6th rounder. The next closest scorer in those rounds was 5th rounder Derrick Byars of Vandy (Logan), who had 56 points.
- With those two, no coincidence that ram was our victor.
- RPI's 2nd place finish was very impressive, considering he only had 3 players reach the Sweet 16. He had the 2nd and 3rd leading scorers in the tournament on his team (Oden and Brewer).
