Take heart, like I said - i suspect that the amounts of gold we're gaining by killing things or finding in treasure chests, will increase as we go deeper into the dungeon

Since we weren't given any descriptions of the scrolls, I don't think it matters which one we take if we decide to take one at all.

hehe - see my post above Thom. I'll let one of you grab the scroll, I'm going to "search" the room since my search ability gives me a built-in "detect magic" and see if i can uncover anything else.

I don't know - if we don't have anymore detail on the scrolls than that then I presume we just will end up picking one at random.

I'm not in that room yet -- but I can get there tomorrow. The room I'm in has darker bricks (like all the other rooms two "in" from an entrance room have, I believe). In this room, there WAS a flapping sound coming from above, but I took care of that.

Packer you can search the room for Traps as a Scout right? Perhaps you should do that before one of us takes a scroll, we can always use a morning action to take one.

there's no star in the room, so its likely not a starting room, but there's probably one next to it, like when I left my starting room I got the cave weasel room, then it was a starting room
