Went from a fantastic Super Bowl to a complete blunder in one play. Just so disappointing.

Who would have thought a Carl Cheffers game would come down to a controversial flag?

This is basically a perfect half, right?

The #Chiefs in the 2nd half:
---0 penalties
---0 turnovers
---0 punts
---0 sacks allowed
---1 incompletion (throw-away)

The outcome probably didn't change based on the time and field, but it made it feel unsatisfied.

At least they would have had a chance to try though.

Why is a Kelce acting like the chiefs were 100-1 to win the superbowl coming into the season?

Also, no once actually talks that way. Talk like a normal person please. You

Is Kelce a functioning alcoholic? I've known guys in college who sounded like that

A good not great Super Bowl. Lots of very good offense, not a lot of good defense, especially with those two in row uncovered receiver TDs.

Kelce is destined for the WWE. That was an audition.

That didn't seem like a penalty at the end. But I wondered about the non-fumble TD early in the second half.

Mahomes did a great job getting rid of the football in the face of that pass rush. Good decision after good decision. Offense wins championships just as often as defense does.

I've watched that hold a few more times. Smith-Schuster has Bradbury beat cleanly on a double move there. Bradbury's hold threw the timing off enough to prevent what otherwise I think would have been a touchdown. It's easier to not throw a flag there - it wasn't Saints vs. Rams level of bad - but you're impacting the game in an equally negative way if you don't call what was a penalty.

Looks like Bradbury has made peace with the call: Eagles CB cops to holding: 'Hoping they would let it slide'

Didn’t get a chance to watch it. Glad the Chiefs are doing well the past several seasons.

God, can we get to the Falcons sometime soon?

Maybe that’s why we need to move up and draft a QB?

There’s 3 projected to go in Top 5 (or Top 10 at worst). I’d go with Stroud or Young but don’t think Lewis is same caliber or certainly not as ‘proven’.

Maybe stay at #8 and one of them will drop in our lap.

People can bitch about the call all they want, the reality is if the eagles get one defensive stop in the second half they win the game.

I really don't think they are going QB in the draft. At least they aren't making any indication they are. I think they might roll the dice on a vet QB, but more likely they sign a vet back-up type to compete with Ridder. It is hard to read this front office because they keep everything close to the vest.

Philly has lost the World Series, MLS Cup and the Super Bowl all in the same season. Three-peat!

Jeeber mentioned that on FB. I'd be curious how many in Philly care about the MLS thing. The Union's emergence is way, WAY past me being there, so I can tell you I sure as hell don't.

It's still not 1980. Islanders over Flyers (6), Lakers over Sixers (6), Raiders over Eagles, with the Phillies bucking the trend.

And also it was a penalty. It was a penalty that could probably be called on some defensive player on most pass plays but is missed or allowed to slide. I am glad the DB owned up to committing the penalty.

But did they get their internet back in time in Philly to see the Super Bowl loss?

Luckily for the NFL nothing will get people to stop watching. The last three games, though, yikes. Two with lots of bad officiating and one withe a team that couldn't throw a forward pass for half of the game.

"...Lots of bad officiating"? Are the two games you're referencing both championship games? Because I didn't think the Super Bowl had "lots of bad officiating."

Matt Araiza plans to sue alleged gang rape victim's lawyer

So according to prosecutors Matt left the party before the gang rape happened. If he is indeed innocent then I hope him the best in his lawsuit.

Apparently he had a workout with the Jets.

I'm sorry Jim, you were right here. (At least I had the Josh Allen part right) 😉
