I think we could be looking at EF and Bug as wolves right now. I suspect their plan was to have Bug offer up a villager as a positive scan result while EF said he was corrupt. If it went as planned they'd kill off at least 2 villagers today (we're still not sure how many night kills they get), while only burning someone who wasn't going to last long as a converted seer anyway. It could also make EF look good with his claim of discovering that Bug had been converted, in a move that took him off the block as the most likely lynch candidate coming into today. |

I want to vote EF if our other detective finds his reveal false-sounding. But Sndvls, are you saying your PMs were less descriptive than "saw nothing suspicious"? That sounds pretty non-descriptive, but I guess I can imagine ways it might be even less so. |

We vote bug and he's bad: Looks good for Narc, doesn't clear or damn EF.
We vote bug and he's not corrupted/possessed: Looks bad for Narc and EF We vote EF and he's bad: Doesn't clear or damn bug, which in turn doesn't clear or damn Narc We vote EF and he's good: Means bug is lying and Narc is probably good |

Sndvls why were none of your Observes on any of the people who voted for me when Zinto was lynched? Why did you not Observe Mr. Bug since it's pretty clear there was likely to be some activity around a professed adept?

I lied I am not the Scientist. I am the Detective-Seer-Duke-Lover, with BG Leanings.
All four of SnDvls, EF, Bug and Narc are neutral parties with their own win conditions. Goal: to create Mass Confusion. Fortunately, I have the heretofore unheard of Arch Duke ability, which allows me to kill them all at once at the lynch. So everyone rest easy.

One thing on voting EF, if EF is bad and Bug is good don't the wolves kill Bug tonight (or convert if they're still able to)? Sure, if EF comes back bad Bug could be the top candidate for a lynch Monday, but they can't afford the chance he'd find out another one of them that he'd tell us about before he was lynched. |

I see what you were trying to do, but you do realize that you could have just picked the days your observed players did nothing? Or that they could have done something since you observed Autumn and Gram? Or got corrupted/converted/possessed? The early choices I can't really question since we knew nothing, but the later ones I just find odd given what has happened in the game over the past two days. |

OK true that. So with all this movement since he left I worry he didn't catch all the action. I'm guessing he's protecting himself anyway. I just hope he's not protecting ef if he is the Lynch. I guess that is what conditionals are for.

Wow, I what an interesting voting history. I still say Bug is bad and voting EF is a huge mistake. Let me get this straight though, SN said what EF said made sense, then he goes back and reads his PMs were too detailed? Really. What is too much the word suspicious? It is not like he was direct quoting Abe, maybe he was putting it in his own words since I thought you can't quote a PM.

I think SNDVLS is on a wild goose chase. So far today he has claimed to narrow down the potential wolf list to 5, placed his full trust in EF, changed his mind and named EF as a wolf b/c 4 words is just too descriptive, and revealed for no good reason.

Strangely I feel like the only person more confused than me by all of this is SNDVLS himself.
I'm still not sure how he can claim to "clear" people with his role and keep a straight face. How does he know there isn't a restriction on a wolf killing in back to back nights? What if Hoops did the N3 kill? How is this any different than the BG clearing people bc they didn't die when he protected them? So many questions.

Yep, I'm not claiming I should be 100% cleared. Seems like a nice way to vault up the "to kill" list I'm thinking 33% cleared is the sweet spot in terms of people being more trusted, but not getting lynched. And while I'm being kind of whimsical in coming up with the percentage, I'm absolutely serious about this in a broader beyond-this-game perspective. |

It seems unbelievably odd to me that the Bug believers are voting for EF rather than Narc. If Bug is the good seer why the hell don't you vote for Narc?
So let me get this straight. You guys believe Bug is the seer AND still on the side of good but feel better about SNDVLS(who's sole claim is that 4 words is too descriptive too be a real detective result) than Bug who clearly said he scanned Narc and he is a wolf. Where am I and what happened to the WW CXXXIX thread?

I'm not sure you're characterizing that right, Dubb. I was voting Bug, and switched because Sndvls made EF's reveal sound doubtful. We have three people with "reveals" all of which is dubious. I'm trying to pick which one is most dubious. The fact that I think EF's is most dubious doesn't mean I believe Bug. It means I think the downside of killing off EF, our second detective, wouldn't be as bad as the other options if I'm wrong.

Well, technically we have four reveals if you include Narcizo's.
I understand wanting to implement risk management here. Normally I'm the king of doing that. But I guess I think that the scans Bug has completed, coupled with two pretty sure wolves if he is a villager, and throwing in the concerns about future actions on him, have tilted me to vote for Bug. But I largely agree with Dubb in that if you actually believe Bug is a good villager right now, then you should be grabbing the person he has fingered as a wolf. I don't know if that matters at this stage on a Friday night, but I agree with his premise more than the current voting. Which is fine ... I don't always get to pick how the vote plays out. Last night being Exhibit A of that. But I think Dubb has it lined up correctly in terms of the correct choices to make in this spot. |

I was including Narc, but I guess I don't mean reveals, I mean three people on the voting block today, each with a claim: Bug claims he scanned Narc wolf, Narc claims he's the sherriff, and EF claims Bug is converted last night. I don't know, I'm pretty lost what to do here. I'm not sure I've ever seen a situation like this before. I would vote Bug most definitely just for the fact that there's been no sheriff counterreveal. But the fact that Narc could be corrupted makes me think twice on that. Well think 17 times at this point probably. |

Sndvls clearing people doesn't make sense, but if his detective results don't match what EF described, I think that's a good reason to listen to him. EF was under the gun, came out with a claim under pressure, then revealed as the one role we could think of that would make sense of his claim. It so happens there's another one of those roles in the game? I agree that's possible, but none of that sounds possibly fishy to you? It's odd that Sndvls came out for him first, but it would be just as odd for Sndvls to come out with a complicated fake reveal like this in order to take pressure off of Bug. Why even put himself on the radar at that point? That's what I can't figure out. |
