Great how they were all stunned and trying to recover. What did they think was going to come of that conversation?

If this was posted already, I apologize, but it is the most illegal thing I've seen in the history of wrestling.

I think that French chick may be the recipient of the flowers in the Teleflora Super Bowl commercial.

I don't speak a word of french but I'm pretty sure there's a point in the video where the host is scolding her for not bending over far enough to spin the wheel.

No, the host didn't say anything like that but one thing I can tell you is that puzzle she solved translates to, "no shirt, no pants".

Too bad this show wasn't some form of Charades.

I read about this and thought it would be relevant here - cool feature.

Linking to Specific Times

Deep Links allow you to share interesting or funny moments in a video with your YouTube contacts. Once a Deep Link is incorporated into a video, the viewers of the video can start watching from a particular point and jump straight to the part of the video that you'd like them to see.
In order to create a Deep Link, please follow the steps listed below:
  1. Find a video with a specific scene you'd like to share with a friend.
  2. In the video information section (the grey box to the right of the video), copy the text located in the 'URL' box.
  3. Click the 'Share' tab (located below the video).
  4. Paste in the text you copied from the URL box into the message. This text is the video's URL.
  5. Go to the end of the URL and add the time code for the specific time in the video you'd like the viewer to start watching.
For example, if you'd like the viewer to start watching the video at one minute and forty-five seconds into the video, you'd add the following time code to the end of the URL: #t=1m45s . The URL with the Deep Link should appear this way:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc9xq-TVyHI#t=01m45s

Deep Links and Comments

You can also use Deep Links with comments to let other users know which part of the video you think is funny / interesting etc.. To reference a particular point in a video, type your comment in the 'Comment on this Video' field, including the time code of the moment you'd like other users to see. Once you've posted your comment, the time code in your comment will turn into a hyperlink. When other users click the hyperlink the video will start playing at the time specified in your comment.
Make sure to enter the time code in the following format: for one minute and fourteen seconds, please type 1:14. An example of the comment would be:
"the dog is so smart, especially at 1:40!!"

Good idea, another way to do this is to pause the video where you want it to start, right click on the video and select copy URL at current time.

Great music - no question. But, while listening (and thanks for the link - was enjoyable) I asked myself ...

Why is this considered a guitar "solo". The whole friggin band is playing. I know it is, and many/most solos aren't "solo" .. just wondering why/how it became known as a solo. Is it just because someone isn't singing ? Or is it just that during that time, the main focal point of the music is the "solo" instrument.

(was a long solo, and had time to think. Never a good thing)

DougW, that's a fair question. I think the roots go back to classical music, perhaps opera and then to jazz. A noted violinist, aria or improvisor is typically never alone when singing/playing but has the backing of an orchestra, ensemble or band.

A solo is when one person is playing the melody by themselves. That is what is happening here, so it is a solo. Most solos have accompaniment.

Only if there is an accompaniment, which is not required. There can be true solos with only a single performer.

If your gonna ride my train of thought then you need to be prepared for several stops, a few transfers, and some very odd destinations.

A conversation about getting older leads to
-- a reference to Carousel
-- to explaining the scene to my son
-- to finding the scene on YouTube
-- to a video about the complex wiring rig used for the scene
-- to mentioning the bit part of Farrah Fawcett in Logan's Run
-- to her rise to fame
-- to her marriage to Lee Majors
-- to his return to TV as The Fall Guy

There were also visits to trying to think of Heather Thomas' name, to the confusion between her & Heather Locklear, and to Locklear's role in T.J. Hooker thrown in along the way.

And we end up here ...
