Awesome. And I actually found a small chest that I can't bash that I am in possession of, so we have a couple different items to unlock.

I would suggest that ntn, you go ahead and investigate the metal chest and/or simply use the lock picking wand on it, while Ragone, you can investigate the room. I will attempt to open this little chest I have on my own to see if a lock pick is necessary.

Does that work for you guys?

Can you explain this part of the Druid class description: They can use items as if they were a priest.

I looked at the Priest class description, and I did not see any reference to item usage there.

So you know, ntndeacon, I am a Qwith Druid. I am currently armed with a staff, and I am level 4. I can shapechange into a wolf, as you saw, and I know the Cure Light Wounds spell.

I have 100 gold, the staff and some other items (a Ring of Substance?) that I can trade with you for that Druidic club if you are so inclined.

It means they can use items that state they are reserved for a priest, like a scroll of divine magic.

SOme items can be used only by Divine Spell users and Priests, and that inlcudes Druids

The Ring of Substance allows you to hit any creature with any weapon. So fire creatures can be hit with fire weapons, magical creatures can be hit by non-magical weapons, etc. It is worth 200. I offered the staff so you could sell it at the next Djinn sale. I think you would get 50 gold for it, but not sure. And then my 100 gold. So that would be 350, almost there. Maybe we'll find enough in the chest to do a trade.

Parties move and fight together, BTW, but otherwise they submit their own actions. So if you're investigating the large metal chest or using the Wand of Lock Picking on it, go ahead and submit that order. It will be tomorrow's Movement Action you will not have to submit anything.

We are more interested now than we were, with that ring. We have put in a move already, as I assumed that movement was the group movement. we think that the staff will sell for 25 though. Aren't normal weapons sold to us at a rate of 50 gold? so 325. If we agree that our price is fine then we may do the exschange soon.
