That should be the end of Gunsmith upgrades for a little while, most everything from this point on is level 35+.

Id like to max the Town Hall, Hotel and Bank (in that order) next.

However, were flat ass broke in Troutville now.

it's $60 per 30 minute increment, $240 for two hours of work.

And hopefully I'm not driving anybody nuts by frequently topping off the treasury in order to get it to an increment that fits neatly into a time unit.

I think they upped the chance to find items, the last few days I have been finding an item out of overy 4 two hour jobs or so. Unfortunately many of those came in silver mining which is low luck, but even with evangelizing I've found a couple items already with only 12 hours put in.

well, not nuts yet, but you were succeeding in making me wonder if that was only a coincidence on World 7. Been a few times I got to town and had a neat $240 or $480 waiting for me after you'd deposited some money. Good one.

don'T know anything about Count or k-on, but I posted something a page back about lilbull3. When did he hit you? Was it before or after the telegram to his town founder I reported a page back?

Let me know if I need to talk to him again about this...

That is a nice shirt...though I'm not sure how a builder comes up with that much cash.

Question...since it seems like some of our workers are getting picked on with growing regularity. What should our response be? Assuming its a Soldier or Dueler that's doing the attacking in the first place, is a proper response to go and pick off a Worker from the assailant's town (and presumably a telegram to let them know why), or are we taking a more diplomatic approach?

As one of the FOFC soldiers, I want to start taking a more active role in defending what's ours, but I don't want to work outside of whatever we've got going in way of diplomacy either.

yeah, the reply I got from Totalimmortal about lilbull3 came on 5/17/09 at 6:22 AM so he probably hit ya before the telegram was read.

They're like 8 hours away from us, and way bigger than us so I would cross him off as a one shot.

as for CountDeMoeNay, I'd say unleash the dogs. He's the highest level of 7 people in his town and they have this nice little tidbit on their town page "Dont attack our builders or we will attack you!" heh...

Are you hitting them, or workers from their towns, or both? I can lay the wood to whoever needs it as well tonight when I get home (itching to use the new muzzle-loader) but that'll be a few hours yet.

very nice shirt, they had it at the place where I did my shopping spree but I couldn't spend $2000 of my $2800 on a shirt and ended up spreading the wealth a bit...

And even before I check the results ... why am I getting dueled by
alexny1 La Vie Boheme

edit to add:

Lost 50-29, got hit 6 of 8 times, in one shoulder or the other ("wide" shoulder Rds 4,7,8 & "near to my body" shoulder Rds 1,2,6)
I hit him twice, gun hand in rounds 1 & 4.

I'm an adventurer a long way from home (heading to the far west on a quest task) and had $0 on me, so he gets his share of that.

Thank you Danny.

I'm in the middle of Breaking in Horses, but once that's done, I'll head over, sell some crap I don't need and make a deposit.

I don't have nearly as much money to donate as I'd like to, as I've used some on respec'ing my character.

I'm starting to get that impression.

Correction: I now HAVE that impression, no "starting to get" about it.

I have the feeling they aren't happy with seeing objects in their rear view mirror getting closer than expected (as both of our towns are closing in on their sister city Shearing Shed in spite of having fewer members by a pretty good margin)

dola

Anybody ever have any dealings with the other large town in our quadrant, "Western Syndicate"?

Looking down the road a bit, them + us probably have a shot at putting together an alliance that could handle LVB. On the other hand, if LVB & WS were together we'd be well & truly screwed. And I don't trust LVB enough to ever want in any alliance with them that could swamp WS, about the only way I'd be interested in partnering with LVB down the road (when forts are introduced whenever) would be in order to fuck them from behind without the courtesy of a reacharound.
