Not drunk enough to qualify for this thread, but safe to say, two words describe the evening. Fuck Yeah.

That doesn't even begin to explain, and I'm not saying more.

Drunk enough that I smoked, drank and sang mournful love songs while wandering my driveway. Made roommate flee in horror and neghbors either laughed at me or wee drunk too

Does my wife count, because she puked in the toilet. Her office Christmas party was tonight. We haven't gone out much sans child, and she had at least 9 vodka cranberries. I was mainly a wallflower and let her hang with the girls from work.

Then I got to be the bad guy and kept us from going to the after party at a pizza joint. I sense she was beyond hammered, given her inability to stand without support. Within 10 minutes of getting home, at least 3 of the vodka cranberries are in the toilet.

So what I'm trying to say is, I didn't get any tonight.

Puking aside, I probably would have gone to the pizza joint, assuming no more drinking was involved. Pizza has been for me one of the most effective "sop up all the alcohol in your stomach" foods. I have no idea if it really does do anything, but I usually feel better/less sick if I have some pizza. Doesn't even have to be "good" pizza. Papa Johns works fine...

Even the worst pizza tastes pretty great when alcohol is coursing through the system.

I'm not drunk, but I should be. I put more than my fair share away, but just couldn't pass the tipping point. Happy New Year!

Days like today are one of the reasons I love living in a city. About 50 bars I can walk to today to watch the games and drink some beers!

Got hammered last night and woke up still drunk. Feeling the weight of the world. A cousin I pretty much grew up with died of a stroke Friday night. Plus, my neighbor across the street recently found out he has cancer everywhere.

I believe I need some hair of the dog.

Sometimes, a dump gets taken in the middle of things. That, my friend, is one reason we kill brain cells with the magical elixir known as "alcohol."

No worries! That's a pretty crummy weekend, hell, month. Sorry for your loss and for your neighbor being sick.

Not exactly drunk, but not exactly sober right now...

Just still pissed & knowing there is nothing i can do about it. (and was into a bit of scotch)

Tonight on my way home I see a couple boys that seemed to be teenagers run across the street & duck into some bushes. They seemed to be screwing around or something. Made me keep an eye on them. I was stuck at the light behind a truck that was turning or I would have made the turn onto my street already. When the light turned I hear this loud BANG. I turn around I see nothing. I know they threw something that hit my car, but I also know that the dumbest thing you can do is to get out & look. If it's a ploy, they have your car.

I get home... There are some nice scratches in my rear passenger side door with a small dent. At that point, I got PISSED.

I left the car parked, got my dog & a riot stick that I have (nice aluminum bar about 3 ft with rubber caps on it) and took a walk. Where I got hit I found almost a dozen fist-size chunks of concrete around in the street. They had apparently been having a bit of fun throwing them at cars. I pick one up that had some black paint on it (could have been mine) and found myself yelling "Where are the motherfuckers that throw rocks at cars out here? Come on out! Be men about it instead of little bitches! I got something for your ass!"

I then called the cops on my way home & have to touch up some paint on the door... don't think it's even worth involving the insurance.

I fucking hate people. Especially stupid ones.

If it wasn't 3am i'd have another drink.

Took a job back in Septemaber that was just seasonal and didn't pay nearly enough. Hours had been being cut across the board the last few weeks. Today at the end of my shift I was informed that I was being let go.

Now I am freaking out a little... While the job wasn't anything good, didn't pay and the writing was obviosly on the wall, it was just enough to pay the current bills. Now all I have is my other job. One day a week. Not enough to pay the bills at all.

I need a ficling job.

And damn... Lauders is some awful scotch.

Oklahoma sucks. The only place you can buy greater than 3.2% beer is in liquor stores. Due to contracts, they don't even sell Bud in liquor stores either.

True story: I go to a gas station/liquor store at 7:45 in the morning to gas up and get some beer. The liquor store isn't open yet, but I ask the guy working there if the beer in the convenience store portion is weapons grade beer (I'm doubtful, but hopeful I can get some). He replies that it's 3.2%, but the way they brew it, it's actually double the amount of alcohol; so if it says it's 3.2%, it's actually 5.6%.

Wha? When I tell him that 3.2% doubled is not 5.6%, he replies that after you've downed 12 beers, it's all the same. I hate this state and its pussy beer.
