But ntn should give us what the unknowns are so that you have the rest of that list to choose from. You've got plenty out of there, right?

Only thing other than the catch I Have is a pretty bad bears "Team photo". I have my other 4 though. I spent most of my time looking for the federal superbowl, the hula dancer and the bears team photo |

So while we're waiting, did anyone get the Federal Super Bowl?
A picture from the Super Bowl of the two cities who have played each other in the championship of the NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA: This was Superbowl XXXVI: New England (Boston) Patriots defeated the St. Louis Rams. Last edited by Raiders Army : 02-05-2007 at 10:39 PM. |

I got the second one there. I had no idea for the federal bowl. I looked at super bowls that Washington played in, looked for any super bowls that might have been played in Washington. I looked in past super bowl history for one called "the federal bowl" looked for older football leagues like USFL etc for one that had a federal bowl.. just didnt find anything. |

It was a close competition. A few of the items left the teams puzzled. I am not surprised that the gyrating football player left teams stumped. I ran into it completely by accident when I was going through corbis's database. The clue for the "Federal" Super Bowl was designed to be hard. There has been only one game played north of the Mason-Dixon line (or in Civil War parlance, in Federal Territory). I wanted to include this bit of trivia but didn't want it too be too easy to find (the game being at Detroit) and perhaps went too far in the other direction. Finally, there were the Huge felines. I did get a couple of cats in helmets, and one picture, from Howard I believe, of a huge stone head in a helmet but it was not a feline. I expected this too to be a tougher one, with Pass having an unfair advantage. Outside Chicago's Art Institute there are a couple of famous lions who they decked out in Bears helmets. There was some news about it locally because the first set of helmets didn't fit. Like I said, designed to be hard. Then there were the ones where my wording was poor. I meant for the football players without a helmet to be one of a player whose helmet came off during the play, but clearly the wording did not say that and so I accepted a couple pictures of Peyton Manning standing on the sideline. The Commissioner pictures was the other one where my wording was less than ideal. It was always designed to be 5 separate photos. Of course, as Kwhit and Blade asked, it would have been possible to combine items, as they'd still have been sending only 5 pictures, though no team did this. Anyway, I was a stickler about the Commissioners. I will give the teams credit. Many of the items that I had trouble finding seemed to give others no problem at all. Anyhow our final chart looked like this (and I apologize for the bad formatting but I just played with this for more than 20 minutes to little avail): Quote:
Which give us a final score of: Oz: 30.64 Howard: 27.96 Lupus 29.97 Helsing 31.29 So Helsing wins our first challenge. One of their members will be the seer and they are say from tribal council and the next opportunity for the wolves to attack. Lupus? Howard? It's tribal council for you tomorrow. Details will be posted in your tribal thread (though I'll let everyone know that after an immunity challenge, the next reward challenge will go on simultainously with tribal council. This might change slightly when we have individual challenges). As a bit of an FYI: I'm hoping to start tomorrow's reward challenge around 8, and there will be a 7 o'clock deadline if I can get the help I need lined up. Oh and also before everyone leaves, I need at least one person from each tribe to send me a PM to be a "volunteer". You may not post anywhere that you have volunteered. If a tribe fails to have anyone volunteer there will be consequences. Of course too many people volunteering for this unknown thing could be bad too. So just how adventurous do you feel? |

ImTheCrew is correct. I somehow did not record Schmidty's Bear or Colt (though I did get the others). This means that while Helsing remains safe from tribal council, Oz was indeed our winning tribe and they will be getting the reward. If other mistakes are found before I send out the seer role, I will revise the score. Last edited by Barkeep49 : 02-05-2007 at 11:02 PM. |

I'm curious what the '06 Bears team photo was. I looked for hours but could only find composite pictures, not a full team picture.

Lathum, it looks like you didn't really mess things up too badly for us, so I (at least) forgive you. Just don't let it happen again.

Your PM looked like this
Quote:
For the commissioners I clicked on the first link and took the first ones on there to round out your five. This was the consistent standard across the board. |

I'm very confused by our not getting points for two of the commissioners, the ring and the coin. I thought we had sent all that in.

On the Federal super bowl, I would have guessed the Philly / New England game. I first looked for a Philly / Washington game, but of course that does not exist.

C'mon in Survivors. I hope you had a nice night. I want to thank those of you who volunteered. Of course those who were chosen now are a little more evil than before, but let's not let that bother us. On to today's reward challenge. In Werewolf words are important. It's how you decide who might be a wolf or how a wolf can save himself (or herself) from getting the ax. Today's challenge will test your abilities to use words. Each tribe is to pick a theme and you will then write four poems on that theme. One poem will be an acrostic of at least 6 lines, one a limerick, one an 8-20 line poem with a rhyme scheme, and one a haiku. The poems are due by 7 PM today here in the thread. You may post your poems all at once or separately as the day goes on, but once a poem is posted it may not be changed. Today you'll be playing for something that can save you here on Werewolf Island. I have here two Werewolf Idols. One of them is filled with Wolfbane and will prevent a Werewolf attack from being successful. The other is useless. The winning tribe will decide, in their Tribal Thread, who gets these two Idols. After that the possessor of the Idols may keep or pass, publicly or privately, the Idols. There might even be some celebrity judges coming to take a look at your poems, so I'd get to work. Survivors ready? Go! |

All those with night actions, including the wolves, the seer, and anyone else out there, can only perform them AFTER a tribal council. So yes Oz is still safe from Werewolf attack because the wolves hadn't had a chance to attack yet.
