if it werent for the time shifting triggering different people's cunning abilities, i would agree with you, but for the same reason i didnt like Dwarzdala's post, i wouldnt put it past CF if he has it triggered in this era to be trying to pull a scan.

there is also the Master, who is cunning all the time...nothing would make his life better than a clear on day one.

Actually chief I'm just a vanilla citizen of a particular age. I do get double votes when I'm in my age, so the scary thing is, everyone else from their age will also get double votes. WOndering who the modern people are right now. (Not me, but even if I were voting sal does no good to cover me if I were a wolf).

Thing is, it's completely non-provable this time. It's not like he's claiming BG or seer and somebody can categorically disprove it. He's not even claiming an age. That's not a wolf play that comes with any danger that I can see at all.

I do agree that we could be chasing after villagers. If CF goes down and turns out to be villager, then obviously it looks very bad for me and the late switchers. But you get information even from that. Wolves don't switch from villager to villager for no reason. Then we can start to look at who made an early throwaway vote and stayed there, or who didn't get a vote in at all. And obviously if I go down tonight, you can still explore the CF option tomorrow. That run on me looks really suspicious and somebody is still going to have to make a key, key change.

Fair enough. I guess I should vote for myself then. What I have been trying (apparently unsuccessful) to say is that You seem TO ME to be saying that because I had an ability that you did not, that I was a good person to vote for. Yes your second half spoke of not having THAT ability. And since you say tihs is to throw the wolves offtrack, so be it. BUt that also goes both ways. I took it to mean "I don't have that ability or any other". `This seems to go with your I'm a vanilla villager comment and not the other way around TO ME. Why not? What is the possible danger in claiming a villager with a undisprovable (I don't think that's a word ) role from an unspecified age? We know they are in the game and there's an unspecified number of them. It's an absolute zero risk play

Fine I may as well reveal the whole shebang then. I have two abilities in my age. ONe is my vote counts double. The second one I didn't want to give away because (as Danny also said) I don't want to get nightkilled but I'm going to get daykilled instead so here it is.

I can scan for any role of a player while in my age. Meaning I have to say "I want to scan to see if Danny is the Doctor" or "I want to scan for is ntndeacon is the Cyber LEader" And it only works in my age. Will probably be nightkilled now but Jack can BG me.

And saldana, yes since I have this PER AGE ability I made the assumption that everyone else does too. When Danny made his comment challenging me, it told me that I was wrong and THEN that leads me to believe that there is ONE person in EVERY age like myself. I could be wrong but that would make sense.

This. I can also combine two roles that are sometimes in WW, say they only apply in a certain age because you can't disprove it, does that make me a villager too?

Yeah, I'm feeling worse about a CF vote now. I dont know how strong that ability is since you have to be in that era and know what role you're searching for, but I don't find his story off.

I said I had powers. I held back the second one in case I didn't have to reveal it but at this point I have to because you guys will lynch me otherwise. Don't know what anyone else has. CW has already said (as JAG pointed out) everyone can do something. The fact that I can only do this in my age means TO ME that everyone has something they can do IN THEIR AGE and thus create the tug-of-war time effect.
