I think that Kim survives and Chuck dies. Just a gut feeling.

But Kim loses both clients and hits professional rock bottom and next season becomes Jimmy trying to deal with Chuck's loss and take care of Kim (and failing), which is what finally pushes him into full Saul.

I kind of feel like we are atleast another season away from seeing/or hear mention of Walter white, unless they accelerate the timeline after this season(which i hope they do not)

My favorite Kim theory (that I read somewhere a few years ago) is that she moved back home to the Kansas/Nebraska area (she's worn KC Royals gear) and will end up meeting Jimmy again in the post-BB era.

That seems a bit too happy for Gilligan, but I still hope it happens.

I bet we see Jesse make an appearance first, and that will probably be sooner rather than later. Actually, now that I saw next week's episode is the season finale I'll go even further out on a limb and guess he'll be in it.

I was thinking more in terms of Mike and Gus. We've seen cameos from people like Krazy Eight this season, who would definitely be aware of Jesse at some level (or at least is at the start of Breaking Bad). IIRC the first time we meet Jesse, Walt is on a meth bust with Hank and discovers that "Captain Cook" is a fleeing Jesse and the guy they arrested is just his partner; definitely seems like Mike and Gus's style that they'd know more about their potential competition than local law enforcement. If anything it'd be a brief Easter Egg sort of cameo that doesn't distract from the other stuff going on.

Jesse hires Saul when Badger gets busted, if I remember correctly. Explaining to Walter, "We don't need a criminal lawyer, we need a CRIMINAL lawyer".

It would seem Jesse was at the very least aware of Saul prior to the beginning of Breaking Bad

In the first couple seasons of BB Jesse is portrayed as someone who looks like a loser, albeit one who has pretty clearly displayed more initiative than his burnout friends as far as the drug trade is concerned. I would agree that at the current point in the show Saul hasn't made enough of a name for himself in the criminal world for someone like Jesse to know who he is, but by the time BB starts Jesse definitely has enough experience dealing/manufacturing meth to know that Saul Goodman is not just the ambulance chaser lawyer he appears to be on TV, even if the two hadn't met yet. Chronologically I'd assume that we are at most a year from the time BB starts (the uber-patriotic ads and decor we see from Saul Goodman is the result of Slippin' Jimmy cynically calculating what would most appeal to his potential marks in the era of "freedom fries"), so Pinkman is certainly more than a customer in the meth business at this point.

I have kind of shifted on both Harry and Chuck and wouldn't mind another season of both. It's pretty clear in breaking bad that he isn't a millionaire lawyer so I'm in agreement of a brothers vs Harry showdown that the McGills are on the losing end of.

Paranoid is my guess. My guess is the key to that scene was the Albuquerque car freshener since I think most of us thought he was on the run in some other part of the county.

Really great episode this week.



They gave so much to us and it was shot beautifully. I loved the mendacity of Jimmy playing ball in the cell shop. The day in the life really brings reality to the show. Loved the courtroom scene where you see the need and where Jimmy becomes Saul. Loved the shootout with the Salamancas and building their legendary status. The group therapy. scene, and the finish with Gus was epic. One of the best yet.

Another really good episode as we get to see even more crossover with BB. The show really has turned into what we all hoped it would be. I could go back and rewatch these episodes over a couple times each.

And we've heard the first utterings of "Saul Goodman" in the series.

We see the continued crumbling of Kim and Jimmy's relationship and some very, very creative planning from Gus. Gus's monologue was also very revealing to his character.

Loved it.

Was three episodes behind and got caught up last night. That was a great story arc with Huell. And I agree with the Gus monologue, very revealing. Only two episodes left in the season, one of them directed by Vince Gilligan himself.

In the end....the birth of Saul. What an excellent season, yet again.

Everything you guys have already said, I just watched the finale tonight, holy shit its so good. Kim's facial expressions in the final 3-4 minutes and the way it ended, just devastating and amazing. Everything with Mike... I love this show.
