I think Abe sent my afternoon action results to my work email (not knowing I ended up needing to leave early), so I don't know what happened there yet. Whoops.

Must be nice to fight something much easier than I did. 800 XP for killing four? C'mon, 600 here for killing two. Mine were obviously a much bigger challenge than yours, what did you fight, a pre-school class?

None of you fought a rabid cave weasel, so clearly I had the toughest opponent...okay maybe not.

I will take just about anything right now in exchange for identifying items my fellow adventures have found-cure poison and healing items would be of top priority right now, but food, gold, wands/scrolls your class can't use, etc. So let me know what you have to trade.

Of course we have the slight problem of having to be in the same room so I can do that for you of course...and I might do it for free if you had nothing to give if we were to team up...

Looking for a bit of advice. With the movement phase coming and me at half my XP, should I stay put another day, buy a healing potion at the market, and move tomorrow OR take the chance, move today, and see what happens?

I'm leaning towards the second but thus far my instincts haven't served me that well and it's a miracle I made it through day 1.

Well I'm assuming the items the Djinni have for sale will be announced before the movement phase. if they don't have a healing potion available for sale, you might as well take your chances and move. I wouldn't move further into the dungeon if you have already moved forward though. If they do have one or more available, you might wait for it instead of moving, but its not certain you will get one if a lot of people buy it, since its first come, first serve. Plus your Scout's Ambush ability gives you an advantage in combat should you need to fight, so might be worth the risk if you only end up having to fight one monster.

Well, this might change my decision for the day. I have 1 hit point remaining out of a total of 6. I think I'm still going to move and just hope. And then maybe score some healing from the market.

Question - so there's a brazier with green fire in the corner of this room where i killed the annis - and it was noted that it was the same color as her eyes -- does anybody think that's significant?

I think going to the market and the movement phase take place at the same step during the day (afternoon), so you'd only be able to do one of the two.

DT, did she use magic against you? If so, what kind? I'm thinking that may be the connection.

If I read right, the movement phase is its own phase and then the afternoon phase is the 9 pm deadline which is when the Djinni market is.

Movement Deadline - 4 pm
Afternoon Action Deadline - 9 pm

Go to Djinni Sale - This action may only be chosen during the Afternoon every even numbered day

Alright, I stand corrected. My confusion was equating 'afternoon' with the 4pm deadline.

[ooc -- you do not need to be in the same room to trade goods or services. It does not require action. but an item can only be traded once a day.]

Hmm, well, I think I mentioned earlier that I'd be willing to identify any item. I always enjoy examining magic things made by others -- quite a lot to learn. Yes...quite a lot.

But, you see, I seem to have developed quite a nasty case of imp claw marks on my scalp. Quite nasty. Perhaps if someone can provide me with some herbs or a healing spell, I would be glad to identify anything. Otherwise, maybe 10 gold for an ID? I believe that I will have to purchase a number of healing draughts from the djinni if I ma to survive this adventure.

When you level, do you regain lost HP or just add to your current total.

I don't think that first part is true. You have to be in the same room to trade services (like a healing spell) but you can trade items if you're not in the same room.

Also, if someone is interested in selling herbs, a healing draught, or a healing spell, I would be most sincerely interested in purchasing. Yes, indeed, I would. Most interested.

Hehe, I'm rolling with DT if I can find him.

Also, anyone that finds a garrot, once I see how much it costs to heal me, I may be interested in working out a deal.

Depends on what it is. I have one as well. I also have a scroll and I assume that I don't know what it is because it isn't divine. I would sell it to a wizard.

Morning actions are complete.

Remember if you moved forward yesterday, and you have the option of moving forward again today, that will take you to darker brick territory.

I have meeting at 3:30 that I expect may run until l4:30 or so, so I will be later with movement results by a bit.

My office computer has a virus and luckily, I sent my WW stuff to my home computer, but that may slow me down for the day.

Good luck adventurers! The next movement/combat phase awaits!

ROFL! Just moved from Berkley to West Bloomfield I'm stuck here for a little while. Reminds me of the early 80's here, times are tough. Still some great things happening.

Trading, yes. Very interested. If you have something to identify, I'd gladly exchange that. Or if you have nothing now, I can offer an identification in the future. I am reticent to relinquish any gold at the moment until I know what the djinni are asking for herbs or a healing potion. I am feeling quite sluggish at the moment. Quite sluggish.
