Has anybody seen a player get fouled during a 3-point attempt and get 3 free throws? I can't recall ever seing that, and it happens with some frequency IRL.

I don't think it happens much IRL. My coach would sit you as soon as he could get you out if you did that, and, from what I've seen, most coaches are the same way.
It does happen in FBCB, though. Had it happen in my last season. |

Two requests/questions, one trivial, one less so:
1) Is there any way to easily see conference prestige ratings other than the league editor? It'd be nice to be able to easily a conference's prestige value when I'm looking at job offers and such. Maybe I just missed it, but it may be something to think making easier to access next version around. 2) For the next version, would it be possible to include an actual NBA draft? Even if it was totally superficial, I'd love to know what actual draft spot my players got drafted at, but I don't really have any urge to play FBB to get them in the draft that way - I'm not an NBA fan at all? From the Standings main page when you click on Conference, it lists the Conference Prestige.

1) The conference prestiges are also on the conference standing screen. But there's no one place you can look to see them all. Maybe on the standing screen next to each conference in the list.
2) That would be nice. Not exactly the same result as FBB would give, more of a mock draft. |

Go to Tools... Editor - pull up the Conferences editor dropdown and it lists all the prestiges in sortable order.

I would love that. I don't like when it happens in real life and I hate when it happens in this game (mostly because there is no warning before-hand, it would be nice if you could see if a recruit or a player was considering entering the draft). |

I added an option to disable players entering the draft to the league options screen for the next build. There is also a pause button on the Selection Show screen now as well.

Just curious... have you begun planning the next version of FBCB? |

The next thing up is a new version of FBB. After that it is hard to say. I have an idea of what I would like to do eventually but I'm not sure if it will work out or not. |

1. Thank you, thank you very much. 2. I'm not seeing the previous season filled in. Is this because it is mid-career? 3. I am also not seeing this either. Great, great work. |

For 2 and 3 you will see them in future seasons. The data from seasons prior to the patch wasn't saved.

For the next patch, I'm thinking about a change where some players will refuse to redshirt. This would pretty much come from the 5* players and some of the 4* players. How would people feel about that?

Don't know if it actually happens (can't remember hearing of a player that's done it), but it could add to the complexity of coaching. Or, have the player threaten to go pro or transfer if you do redshirt him.

I think that would be something that you could add to the recruiting process.
"Player wants to play immediately" under notes, maybe? Then when you recruit them, you have the option of promising immediate playing time or not.

I like that addition. As it is right now, I redshirt all of my freshman (3 every year). Granted none are good enough to be 4*, but still. It'd need to be somewhat random though, as occasionally really good players would redshirt.
And I just thought I'd say I love this game. My Furman Paladins are 4-4 right now, nowhere near one of the top teams, lost to a couple of horrible 1 win teams. However, we also beat then #2 Oklahoma at OK by 15 in the 2nd game. We just picked up our 4th win of the season by beating #4 Syracuse at the carrier dome by 37 points. I'm loving it... and its not even close to being my best team ever. |

HR, I'm seeing some problems with the bubble watch, its still the beginning of February, but still:
#2 in the bubble watch is Rider, who is 8-10 with the 135th RPI and 0 QW's. #4 is Nebraska, 5-11, 178th RPI with 0 QW's. #15 is Canisius, 7-10, 212 RPI with 0 QW's. A few others were suspect but got the benefit of the doubt. |

I think you are seeing the list from the previous year. It wasn't getting updated until the first Monday in February but the option was getting enabled before that. |

I'd like to see members of your coaching staff who receive other offers sometimes give you a chance to beat the offer. This would mostly make sense if they are getting an offer for the same "position" with another school.

I have another small (I think) request. Could teams that make the national tournament be highlighted or marked in some way on the conference standings window? I often want to know how many and which teams from each conference made the tournament.

Brian, another small request. On the "Load Saved Games" screen, would it be possible to have the date column sortable? I have so many saved games that it takes me a while to find my latest one, esp. if I had not played all week. Thanks.

How about an email letting us know when one of our recruits has been selected to the Highschool All-Star game. I check the game stats each year, just to see if one of my players actually was selected, and was surprised when when I had someone play (he was a HS All-American, but wasn't nearly the best player at his position that year).

Could we get a list by number of NCAA and NIT championships won, or even # of final fours? (Or FBCB and FBIT I think..)
I just simmed like 35 seasons and I go to champions and it is easy to see Stanford has had a nice little run lately.. but to find the most historical dominant teams takes a bit more work. Code:
Maybe a button at the bottom or something to get a list sorted version, with wins and appearances. |
