Minnesota up 20-0 on Illinois at half, Illinois has 18 yards and 1 first down at half. End of the end for Zook?

Minnesota is up 20-0 on Illinois at the half. The Zookers are going to drop their last six if the score holds up and that should be a wrap on Zook's tenure there.
Very impressed by the turnaround from the Gophers. Jerry Kill is an easy guy to root for and that team should be much better next year. |

One of the commentators just said Auburn has one first down and 14 points. That's pretty impressive.
I'd like this to become competitive in the second half but don't really expect it. Last edited by Big Fo : 11-26-2011 at 05:36 PM. |

Not a great game by any means, but we beat KU so that makes it a GREAT game, imo.

The State-Maryland game was preposterous, yet mildly unsurprising. The only thing different from what I was expecting was that State actually won the game. State fans have been saying for weeks that the most State thing that could happen would be to get beat by BC (happened), beat Clemson (happened), then with everything on the line to make a bowl game, get beat by Maryland to end the season. The only question was how, with choices ranging from blow-out loss to heroic comeback loss to heartbreaking loss in a hard-fought game. So, it turned out to be "heroic comeback loss", only they somehow kept scoring and ended up winning. For once.

Kenny miles just got facemasked. Ref was right there and reached towards his pocket, but then saw Miles was going to keep getting yards and decided not to throw the flag.

Lemme get this straight ... Florida holds FSU to 42 yards total offense in the first half & the Seminoles lead 14-0.

So then we're all agreed that as things stand right now, Paul Johnson has at least as much if not more of a chance to contend for something serious as Frank Beamer. That's all I was saying. |

Liked that Michigan won but that secondary has 3-4 weeks to pull off trying to get ready for somebody like Houston, and I don't like those odds. Michigan will score, but I'm not sure how much they can stop Houston. Michigan's safeties lack...a lot.
I was worried about Dyer for Auburn having a big day, but he was a non-factor. 'Bama should of been up by more, but they went into cruise control offensively once they got a decent lead.

Sounds like they didn't have any kind of backup plan. They had to burn a redshirt on the QB they brought out to start the 3rd quarter.

Anyone seen this video of Gus Malzahn's wife at a church luncheon yet?
I'm wondering if she is part of the reason he isn't a head coach yet. She is a nut job. |

I'm not normally this guy, but Clemson needs to relieve the entire coaching staff of their jobs tonight.

Nail, meet coffin. Alshon has been criminally underused this year. If it wasn't for Stephen Garcia, they'd be the latest top 5 team with a shot at LSU.

Rich Rod can not return to Clemson ever. He would not survive 6 months living in this state...he is a wanted man by some very rich, very powerful, very bad people. Trust me. Rich Rod will never be back in Clemson. That said, my kids will never get this. My son is now 10, SC has beaten Clemson more times in his lifetime than they did from my birth to the day I graduated college.... This is pathetic. This expirement with the WR coach...it aint working. 11-1 with a loss to SC would never be acceptable. Hell even if it meant backing into a BCS championship game which we won, a loss to SC means a failure of a season. Its time for a real football coach. Baylor has their 6th game this season with 600 yards of offense. They had a total of 7 in the previous 109 years.

Badgers curb-stopped Penn St today - Could have been a shut out, too.
I really hope we beat the shit out of Michigan St and send them off to the CapOne bowl again where they get beat up by an SEC team again. My first Camp Randall visit was a good one. It rained the whole game but didn't ruin the experience at all. we were four rows up from the field, GREAT, GREAT fun. I hope to do it again soon. Last edited by mauchow : 11-26-2011 at 11:13 PM. |

I noticed that a lot today. OSU's receivers, Posey especially, got behind the safeties 4-5 times it seemed like, maybe more, but Miller just could not connect (minus the first drive). He threw more then a few wounded ducks. Thankfully, he is a freshman. Hopefully we see that arm develop because he can be deadly. |

Michigan could run for 400 yards on Houston. Houston could throw for 400 on Michigan. I think it'll be a fun one if it happens.

Hawaii does just enough to beat Tulane... I don't even have anything positive to say except its a win.
