After thinking this over I have decided that the tiebreaker role will remain secret. Players are not allowed to reveal that they have tiebreak power while they have it or after they use it. I'll be happy to discuss it after the game.

Anyone have any thoughts on Golden Eagle unvoting and then not re-voting?
Just a sloppy mistake or what? |

Bullet, Cronin is the one dead at this point. Swaggs is still with us.
Swaggs - I didn't see GE online down the stretch. But I agree that it is frustrating to see an unvote followed by no revote. Another random thought - what to think of the tie-break moving to Swaggs, who was proved to be innocent? Does this indict Anxiety in any way? |

i dont think so. the odds of a villager v villager scenario are pretty high, so i would guess that it was just a coin flip for whoever had the TB for tonight. of course there is only one way to find out....lynch anxiety. |

I don't think it is a particular indictment of Anxiety. There isn't much to go on for day one, so this was probably a fairly random vote. For all we know, Anxiety could have had the tie-breaker. |

I don't think we find out on a lynch, unless the person who views the lynch roles wants to share.

I don't think we want to use the "test their word by lynching them" tactic much this game like it was used in the last few games since we won't immediately know, if at all, what a person was.

To be honest, if I were considering anyone who voted for me, it would probably be you. You waited until late to break to me and then tied things up. Lathum voted for me because I voted for him. Anxiety and I had our back and forth, so I understand why he voted for me. You kind of piled on late in the game. But, unless you were taking a risk, I don't think you would protect an evil teammate this early in the game. I've played enough with you to know that you will cut and distance yourself from a teammate if necessary. I considered switching to you, but decided not to for that reason. If you made that play, while evil, more power to you. |

I don't really think this was a bad move who you picked. I think there is some logic to the idea day 1 votes are usually good vs good and its common for bad guys to just stay yout of the way.
I think its pretty rediculous for Goldeneagle to miss a day one vote though... Maybe there was some RL thing going on, but day 1 at least just throw a vote out for someone.. almost anything sticks... |

Particularly on a day when there is a tie and his vote could have broken it or made it a three-way tie. Oh well... I suspect he got caught up in something else and never made it back to place a vote. |

Figured I would put the Anxiety question out there as a sanity check for my own reasoning. Personally, I found the lack of movement near the end of this one reassuring my initial impression that Anxiety is likely a good guy. If he was a bad guy then I would have expected to see some vote switching in the last 30 minutes. The wolves don't want to piss away one of their numbers on Day 1. And leaving him in a tie, unless they control the tie-breaker, is awfully risky.

i actually how an IRL commitment came up...iirc intentionally didnt vote on day one in one of his previous games because he didnt want to create a vote history for himself that could be used against him later...i find that strategy to be counter productive to our cause, although in this game, voting patterns are going to be hard to use until our coroner roles accumulate some info for us. |

Looks like I need to reread what happened. I was just assuming we'd have a flurry of votes without much information. Fortunately for me, it's 6:14 am...I have plenty of time.

I disagree with not giving the name of the tiebreaking party. We already have no role reveals, so it seems like right now the seers are the only ones that can really play, while the rest of us basically just sit around and wait for them. People need some info to work with or you're just guessing the whole game.

with not finding out what role the lynchee had will make this game harder...but then again, who doesnt like a challenge
im sry to hear that we had to lose our duke powers, we could have used that down the road... |

I guess I see a difference between "hard" and "challenging". I agree this may be hard, depending on how soon a seer comes out. But it would also be hard if I told you i was thinking of a number between 1 and 10,000 and I wanted you to guess it. But that's not really "challenging".

But anyway, here's what we do know:
1. Swaggs is Benjamin the Donkey. That means he's good and can't be converted. 2. Whoever Clover is will learn of St. Cronin's role. Clover is also good. 3. Moses the Raven has a 75% chance of learning whatever Clover learned. 4. Moses has a 100% chance of learning the role of the night victim, and Clover has a 75% chance of learning what Moses learned. As such, the bodyguard should protect Swaggs tonight, imo. It makes sense for the bad guys to kill Swaggs so Moses can't learn anything new (since we already know who Swaggs is). |

Actually RD, if I were the wolves, I wouldn't touch Swaggs now. He's a good guy with no guaranteeed ability as opposed to going after a random good guy with an ability.

You wouldn't get it for two days though. (Dead tonight, investigated tomorrow night) and that gives them a chance to hit a good role (4 in 15 chance or so) versus hitting someone that won;t help you at all.

Heh heh point of historical accuracy. While I was a baddie in that game, that decision had nothing to do with my badness, and I wouldn't have done it if I had thought it would focus as much attention on me as it did. I did it simply for the reason I stated then--I felt voting on Day One when we had little information was pointless, and I didn't want to vote for a good villager. I actually felt that way--no "game within a game" intentions or nothing. Of course, I was also pretty much a noob in that game.

OT: Work got really interesting really fast about 20 minutes ago...and it has nothing to do with anything relatively important.

OT: explained.
A group of people came in to upgrade our computers/workspace here in a relatively important spot. Instantly, they started tearing down our shelves on top of the desks, and off they go. They are hard at it, cleaning off any unnecessary stuff off the desks so new mounts could be installed. The mounts are to be used so we can basically have three laptops on top of each other and one monitor...rather than the gobbled goop we have right now. Then they started tearing boxes open and pulling out hardware. They haven't got much further. Cursing ensued and questioning of who ordered what and when. As I type this, 2 hours later, they have two work stations complete. I'll stop grinning eventually.

The night appeared to pass quietly, and you start to hope you made the right decision yesterday, until you wander out by the windmill that is under construction and see the body of Saldana and another message in blood: VIVE!. Still somewhat traumatized by the events of the past couple days, you nonetheless start about your grim business.
SALDANA HAS BEEN KILLED. DAY 2 IS UNDERWAY, DEADLINE IS 9PM EASTERN.

I'm going to be at a new aquisition most of the day today, so just to throw out my early vote..
I'll Vote goldeneagle No huge reason, I'm sure he was telling the truth about why he missed the vote.. just don't have anything else to go on today so far. I reserve the right to change this later, and should be back before lynch to see if we learned much last night. |

I also may be gone a good portion of trhe day so for now
VOTE READDEAL Saldana voted for him and now he is dead. I know this could be a set up but I also know I have used this reverse pycology in the past. RealDeal was also pushing for the bodyguard to protect swaggs and it always throws up red flags when a player tells another player how to use their role. This vote is subject to change but I wanted to get something out there in case I miss the deadline. |

Anxiety's COT:
Trusted: hoopsguy, Swaggs Neutral: Everybody else Swaggs is obviously a powerless Duke, making him a good guy. No way would hoops put himself out ther like he did yesterday and still be evil. I still don't have a reading an anyone else. -Anxiety
