If the Falcons blow another lead and Foles comes in off the bench to lead another comeback, I will be so happy.

Tough call there ... but that's two big receptions Robinson has had yanked away from him for a pick in the last 2 day games.

Falcons DB comes down with the ball in the endzone and they called it a Bears TD! Thankfully replay overturned it but that was an awful call.

I get the logic behind it. But it seems unfair to the offense to get the play wrong and then effectively penalize them by not giving them the chance to clock it within 10 seconds.

Should be a 5 second runoff, IMO.
Only thing I'll say on that one is that is was caught far enough down the field (and some players natural instinct would be to celebrate or argue he was in) that I doubt the Raiders would've been able to get up & spike it with the 5+ seconds left you want to feel comfortable running another play even with a timeout. Plus they scored anyways

For once I'm with Mike Pereira on that Buffalo/Rams play - not sure how that gets called a pick when Kroft had possession first & it was tied up as he went down.

Have to love Patriots red zone featured guy roulette - Rex Burkhead is probably the only person getting multiple TD's while also working as an edge rusher on the Punt Return team LoL

I recall Detroit losing a game on a call like that - something involving Golden Tate at the goal line where they gave him a TD but replay showed he was down short of the line and with the 10 second run-off they couldn't run a play. Something along those lines.

Yeah the bears fans I know have completely turned on him after his play last game plus the contract stuff. Which completely ignores how well he's played with terrible qbs.

So I'm watching the WAS/CLE game, and I wonder - "hey, what happened to Jordan Reed?"

So I go and look, and I see this as of 15m ago or so:

"Tight end Jordan Reed (knee, ankle) and cornerback Emmanuel Moseley (concussion) suffered injuries in the first half of the team's game against the New York Giants on Sunday. The team ruled Reed and Moseley out for the rest of the game at halftime."

Yup, makes sense.

Two touchdown passes from Foles now called back by poor WR play.

That was kind of questionable pass interference call against the Chargers.

Gah, Rams got hosed on that pass interference call. I am not sure why offenses do not initiate contact with the DB and then dare the refs to not throw the flag. Its ripe for abuse.

The Falcons don't even burn any clock. They just throw incomplete pass after incomplete pass. Didn't they learn anything from their SB loss?

There's no way Quinn remains employed if they blow this one, right?

Pay back for that terrible interception call. Very happy the Rams lost. Hope they go 2-14 now.

I hate to admit it but, yes, the NFL HAS come up with one way to entertain me.

Twitter on Falcons game days is a delightful experience

So the Browns are over 500 for first time in SIX years. I don't know if I should be happy or sad about that.

There's a chance that Father Time has caught up with Brees, and this Saints season will be a lost one.

But as long as the Falcons keep doing this, I'm happy.

I'm ready to wrap it up and call the Bengals season a success. Burrow is the real deal. Now don't get him killed before next year.

Eh, didn't see that call, we got the WAS vs. CLE game here. Let go the whole thing, you guys stole the Rams from LA, LA got them back. Good for the goose, good for the gander and all.

I think Josh Allen looking like a legitimate NFL qb is the biggest surprise though 3 games.

I loved them at their reveal, but I didn't realize their yellow was essentially highlighter yellow. It's too much.

I have already confused the Chargers and Rams half a dozen times this year. Someone screwed up in that regard too.

Every time I watch the Jets or Giants I think the other NY has to be better, but then I watch the other one and feel the same way.

Both organizations are cautionary tales that a string of high draft picks and your pick of franchise QB (or RB) doesn’t mean shit if you don’t have a functional organization and a plan around them.

OK so after the Atlanta onsides kick debacle, GB does the exact same thing and gets bailed out because the ball didn't go 10 yards. They sat there watching it, and if it had gotten 10 yards, there was a Saint in perfect position to fall on it.

Saints looking sloppy.

Defense looking soft.

Brees looking like he does not trust himself (or his receivers) to do anything but checkdowns.

This feels like 7-9. They have enough raw talent to beat bad teams. But nothing in the first three weeks makes me think that they should be favored against good teams.
