Yes. It was Marinelli testing the resliance and character of his team. It was also the day after defensive line coach Joe Mullen decided it would be a good idea to strip down to his birthday suit, get into his car, and head to Wendy's for some biggie fries and a delicious frosty.

Hey. He was hot and he was hungry.

Those were good times.

Not good times...

whats really sad is that beating the Lions in preseason will be the highlight of the Raiders entire season

Bye week must have been really hard on Joey Porter.

It's like you get used to getting to go to the circus every week and laughing at all the clowns. And then one week, your mom tells you that the circus is closed.

He probably watched that Aaron Brooks clip on youtube a few times and tried to get in the mood.

But you know it wasn't the same.

Why was it hard on the Steelers LB? I figured it would be much harder on Jerry Porter

Unless you meant it was hard on Joey Porter watching Big Ben do his Aaron Brooks impression

I actually meant Jerry Porter.

But maybe Joey Porter didn't like the Raiders bye either.

You never know.

The Browns are awful. I'll give the raiders a minimal amount of credit, as they have made some big plays. They are still lousy.

Ping Browns: You're making Lamont Jordon look like Jim Brown today.

Raider's offensive game plan should be just to huck hail marys to Moss on every down. No need to have a pretense of a playbook.

Walter's actually not doing too badly considering it's his first career start. That being said, the Browns look pretty bad.

35.4 rating.
I understand that you probably have low standards after watching Collins and Brooks, so I'll give it a pass

Hmmm...I fell asleep during the 1st quarter. Fockin beer. I snoozed after the defensive TD and woke up just in time to see Fargas run and Walter throw a TD to Moss.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

You know how when your team wins nothing else matters? Well, my team lost today...blew a 21-3 lead, I probably lost my fantasy leagues and my office pickem.

At least I won a $5 bet on the Texans.

That special teams coach should get fired tomorrow. The Browns nearly ran back 2 kickoffs and one punt. Thank god the kickers can tackle.

It's pretty sad when the kickers are the best players on your team.

Impressive. 240 yards of total offense against the Browns. A crisp 68 yards passing. And 0 points after halftime. That idea to have a coach who hasn't been around football for over a decade is looking like a great decision now. Thanks again for passing on Leinart and Cutler. Please Mr. Davis, stay alive. Whatever you do, stay alive.

I'd much rather have Robert Gallery than Big Ben or Phillip Rivers. It's hard to find left tackles like him. He's the prototype.

Dude, we've already established that the Raiders are going to start 0-6 just for dramatic effect, then rattle off 10 straight and keep winning until they're Super Bowl Champions.

Actually, it wouldn't have been a decade until 2011.
