Fixin' to head to the Texas-Rice game. God help me, we are taking 4 kids between the ages of 4 and 8 to their first football game. It sounded like a good idea at the time...

Maybe someone will be selling mescaline outside the stadium, that might make that deal at least tolerable. Otherwise ... there's a high likelihood that you're screwed.

Michigan's secondary might be questionable, but the front 7 is coming after you. Michigan is getting pressure and creates it's second TD for the defense. So yes, Michigan's D has actually outscored W. Michigan.

W. Michigan is falling apart. 2 40+ yard runs and it's 34-10 Michigan.

Another 30 minute break with Michigan driving again. The fans are feeding off the rain and the Big House is rocking.

We all can be guilty of it (I was with RR) but how did USC fans psych themselves up for Lane Kiffin? He is TERRIBLE.

I don't think many do. I could take a 8 loss season with nothing to play for if it gets him fired.

And they just showed an empty stadium. With the radar what it is and the game essentially over despite 16 minutes left, this might be a weird ass scene with 40,000 remaining under the lights a week early to finish it out.

UCLA is down by 10, 2 and a half minutes to go, have the ball at the 11 with a kicker who goes 1 for 4 in practice, and we try to kick a FG...

Such is the life of a UCLA fan

At least flicking to the UCLA game cheered me up a tiny bit. Seeing Neuheisel having to call his last time out because he couldn't think of a play in time with the clock stopped and 1:30 left in the game made me remember that UCLA has it just as bad.

I wonder if the 2 LA schools can claim to have the two worst gameday coaches in the nation? Certainly both guys are in the top 10.

He recruits well. That is about it. So disappointed in the 2nd half today. Still, Robert Woods is amazing.

As much as I despise Kiffy, he also found a way to make Jonathan Crompton useful, just a year after he looked like the single least capable QB not named Reggie Ball in the history of college football.

That alone should provide USC fans reason for hope.

Attention South Carolina: You will win more games when Lattimore gets more than one carry through a quarter.

Lee continues to look scared at QB for LSU. The good news is, he seems to have translated that away from throwing crazy INTs. But if LSU is ever going to get decent production out of this offense, Lee has to get more comfortable with the reality that he's going to get hit and sacked sooner or later.

It's a shame, the kid has an incredible release and arm. Not sure he will ever have the right mental makeup though.

And just as I finish typing that, nice play special teams!

Bad snaps have cost LSU 4 points. Odd that the stadium is 80% LSU fans, and yet its the LSU line struggling with getting the snaps right.

A 28-7 3rd quarter for South Carolina puts them in from of ECU 42-31.
Tennessee no problem with Montana, 35-9 late Q3.

I don't understand Nike's strategy. It seems most people find the uniforms ugly. Is this some kind of viral marketing? Does making ugly uniforms equate to revenue somehow?

I'm being totally serious. What is the strategy behind these uniforms?

Just got home from the Clemson Troy game.
Clemson has some legitimate concerns this year....but some nice young talent.

A nice weird stat, 5 star wr Sammy Watkins goes 33 yards for a td on his first reception in his first game. Later on 5 star rb mike Bellamy goes 75 yards for a td on his first carry of his first college game. Doubt that combo has happened often before.
