Antmeister and Saldana, you both seem to be around. Can you explain your votes on me so that I have a chance to respond to your feelings/reasons?

Looking back at the tie-breaker logic, it seems that Purdue would be the person to lose due to Pass voting for him prior to RendeR voting for Cronin.

Man, gypped by the rules, I didn't see that! I was at least hoping a tie would be no lynch.

my vote for you was based on two things, at the time, i wasnt sure of the exact count, but thought it was close to being a tie between you and barkeep...number 1, i abhor ties, so i was voting to widen the gap a little. number 2, we have never played together before, whereas, BK and I have played alot, so i have an idea of what BK's value is if we are on the same team, and that is a chance i will take on day one. neither of those things mean i cannot be convinced to reconsider, which i am currently doing. |

And what would your reason be for forcing a tie. On day 1, no one knows jack*bleep*, so by not trying to narrow down your suspects seems silly to me.

Not a tie - I narrowed the gap after doing some post review because I'm thinking we are headed towards a bad lynch.
I moved my vote to a guy who is at best borderline participating right now in Arlington Colt. He also missed multiple votes in the last game I played with him, which didn't help the villager cause. Vote count, as of Post #257: PurdueBrad (5 votes)- Pass (149), Barkeep (209), Saldana (228), Cronin (235), Antmeister (244) Cronin (4 votes)- Render (157), Eaglefan (218), PurdueBrad (222), DaddyTorgo (230) Arlington Colt (2 votes)- Path (212), Hoops (250) Barkeep (1 vote)- Oliegirl (203) Render (2 votes)- Realdeal (163), JHeinz (173) Realdeal (1 vote)- NTNDeacon (180) Not voted: Arlington Colt, Chief Rum |

Saldana, thanks for laying that out. This goes back to the exact thing I said earlier. It is tough to choose the inexperience over the experience if all things were equal (in fact, I don't think you would ever want to do it) but in this rare case, it is the wrong move.
I won't say anything more than I do appreciate that you are looking and are willing to possibly reconsider. |

Additionally, a tie still results in a lynch here per the rules. So just to make sure I follow the argument, voting for the vote leader is narrowing down the suspects? If I'm not getting the argument, please correct me on it. |

For posterity's sake I want to emphasize now that while I created a tie, it's not a no lynch and there are 6 players in the thread, 4 of whom could change votes and subsantially effect the outcome of this lynch away from PB or cronin (as hoops and I are together on Arlington).

Just want to say that I will be tallying votes as 9:00 hits, and I might not be able to post at exactly 9:00 with a "Deadline" post. I have my board time set to CST. Any vote made with 9:00 PM showing as the posted time will count as a valid vote. Any vote made after 9:00 (i.e. 9:01) will not. Just to avoid some issues concerning the validity of a vote.

not sure what i am going to do, but if he is going to be as involved as he has been today for the rest of the game, he is worth keeping around...its not like there was any evidence against him...its day one.

I would go further and suggest that the ease of which a majority was built is slightly in his favor. Wolves, after all, will tend not to vote their own on Day 1. Of course I am, as always, suspicious of hoops as he would be 100% smart enough to orchestrate this defense. But please realize this is just my general hoops paranoia speaking and not any real sense that he's bad (I would believe right now he's good all things considered).

Antmeister, I guess as the guy on the chopping block here, I would've liked to hear a bit more reasoning, particularly since we have not played together before. Of all the votes on me, your's might bother me the most because of the landslide feel at the time and the lack of reasoning. I've been pretty willing to respond to most questions and claims and would extend to you that same courtesy. |

I wish Eaglesfan was around as he has had good reads in both games I've played with him and he is still on Cronin but w/o explanation. I would like to hear his side.

Another correction - still had Saldana on Purdue, but he is not there anymore. It should be Cronin (235) instead ... I erased the wrong name on the vote change. Counts are still the same (unless people have moved while I was typing this).

Arlington, for me it is self-preservation. It's a coin toss between you and St. Cronin for me. For blue text, use the weird looking A in the response menu.

"Go Advanced" and choose the color from that menu.
Arlington, you got my vote because: a.) you had not voted b.) based on our small sample set of playing together, I wasn't sure if you were going to today c.) it gets harder for the village when people aren't active I have no idea if you are a villager or a wolf, but I preferred putting a vote on you to the two leaders (Purdue and Cronin) because of the above reasons. |

My vote was similar to hoops:
1. I was voting for someone not on the hoops list, given better odds 2. PB was actively contributing 3. You had not voted and there was a sense that people might switch to you. PB seems/seemed worth saving. |
