I cast this as soon as I read EF's vote. His put saldana up by one so I tried to make it a tie. It's only as I write this that I'm realizing that you're right, it would put Darth up by one. I had only a few seconds and all I can say is I thought I was making a tie.

You're right. I was just thinking of putting Darth up another, but wasn't counting putting Saldana down by one. This is why moves like EF's are either villager blunders or wolf plays, it just sows confusion.

Well, that is with the assumption that the warlock was on Darth. Otherwise he would have been happy to allow the tie I think unless he thought someone was going to move to Darth. But the Warlock vote on Darth would explain his move as a wolf - you'd have to be a desperate wolf to put a target on you like that. But if you were going to save the cunning (and allow them to get scanned later) and keep the warlock from getting narrowed down, it might be worth painting yourself as a target.

If I was a wolf my change would still have not protected the warlock as the 1 vote difference would have come up a tie and everyone would still know the warlock was on darth.

I made this move believing that saldana was a wolf and that the warlock was on darth.

I took a chance and it didn't pay off for me, but at least it paid off for the village.

Well, to play devil's advocate it'd be better to have narrowed the warlock down to six and save the cunning then to lose the cunning AND narrow down the warlock. There was only so much you could do, if you are a wolf.

I don't want to turn this into the EF/Autumn debate. I'm glad that you're arguing your position, I agree that runaways don't help. But I think you've made yourself a solid enough contender that there's a very viable theory that you were a desperate wolf.

All right, if Danny's theory was correct about EF then the Warlock would likely have been on Darth, and probably been someone who wasn't here to move their vote. That's my assumption.

I know I was there, CF, I'd have to look back to see who else was, but that would be one way to narrow down the field if we stick with that theory.

The other theory alwyas is that EF made kind of a boneheaded villager play and that we shouldn't get so caught up in that as to ignore everything else. I'm going to look at the day when I have a moment and see if we can learn anything knowing htat Darth was bad and DAnny was good.

I was trying to lynch what I thought was a wolf being saved.

When I made that move I thought there would be two outcomes (thinking that the deadline would be when 9:00 rolled around which I was the last vote prior to). Either saldana is a wolf lynched or there is a tie and we find the warlock was voting darth.

Now...

With the result known. Why on earth would the warlock be voting the cunning?

The arguement against me is that I moved because the warlock was on the cunning. How insane would that be for the wolves?
