Yeah but it's only funny if you like to look down at people. That's the only way I can see it as being funny. I don't think it should belong in this thread, it's not funny unless you like laughing at stupid people. It doesn't put out the right impression for a community in my eyes. Quote:

Yeah here's the thing in case people missed it. I took a shot at the comic because it wasn't even trying to be funny, just trying to be an arrogant shit. Definitely not because I was offended. Nothing to do with that. I'm over it and I'm moving on.

From the opening post (the poster may be familiar)

Emphasis added by me. Nothing about attempting to be funny involved there.

Look, I didn't say he couldn't or shouldn't post it. I'm also free to take a shot at crappy ones. Don't like it, tough shit.

I don't think anybody is pissed off at MJ4H right now. I think the overly religious yo-yo's and people who think "funny" isn't in the eye of the beholder are just trying to throw a hissy fit. It's one thing to say that you don't think a comic is funny, it's another thing to say it shouldn't be allowed.

No, it was funny. You may not think so because you're the subject of the joke (in a manner of speaking), but it was funny. Laughing at people is mean and cruel; but that's what this entire thread is full of. |

I think the silver lining of this debate is that we finally hit another page on this thread. I was a little tired of seeing that same one with the animal molester in hell every time I opened this up.

I'm with MJ4H on this one. It just wasn't a funny comic. The one about Jesus complaining at the Last Supper was funny. Jesus as the designated driver was funny. Guy getting served by a robot while laughing that people used to believe in the Bible? Lame. It's the Garfield of offensive comics.

What the guy is talking out of his ass. I was appalled by the fact people were close minded and attacked MJ4H. I didn't think you were out of reality also until you posted the above. Carry on and please post more comics.

Bingo...i dont think it was in poor tastes, it was just a bad comic that wasnt funny...TCY Junkie might have made it about religion, but I fully support MJ4H in this one as the comic doesnt belong in the thread, but just because its not funny at all...its not offensive to me, just doesnt even get a giggle out of me(the one mj4h posted does though)

Well in that case, I'd like a good quarter of the comics out of this thread because they didn't even make me smile.
