Other than those few plays at the end of the first half (which granted put points on the board for the Steelers, so it was big), the Jets have done a really good job on pass protection.

I appreciate that they're still fighting and that they're not giving this thing up. I just hope we can pull it out.

That is some all-time shitty playcalling right there. A fifth grader could call a better sequence of plays than that.

I don't know if I've ever seen a bobbled-snap safety, let alone in a game this important.

wow.

"hey Rex, Greene is running the ball really well inside right now"

...calls two pass plays from the 2 yard line with a single receiving option and then runs LT into the line on 4th down

If his surname was Smith he'd be bagging groceries right now. Worst playcalling offensive co-ordinator in the league by a country mile IMO.

I think you have to kick it off - which is what makes the clock management so mind blowing.

And, if you're going to onside, I think you go for two there to protect against a potential FG by PIT.

Why would they go for two there? They still need another touchdown, at that point they can go for two to make it a 3 point game (if they get it that is).

They did the right thing kicking the XP.

Um, no need to go for two there. Yes, you go for two if you score again. I'm usually a proponent of going for two as soon as possible, but in this case it doesn't matter as it won't affect strategy whichever way you do it.

fwiw - I think they made the right choice.

Just saying if you were going to onsides you might.

But man, special teams BLEW it there.

Exactly. If they were down 15 I would have gone for two... though all the taking heads say go for one to make it a one score game but I would rather know early if I have to worry about getting one or two scores.

This is ridiculous if the Jets have a chance to come back on the last drive of the game. If Pit finds a way to lose this game I don't know what I'll do. They certainly don't give a lot of confidence even if they do win.
