DOLA - if Yahoo would just classify Cobb as a RB he'd be by far my best option there. Although I do have Donald Brown coming back and Jonathan Stewart on the up, plus Alex Green who was a waiver pickup

Pick 3 (these WRs are all better than RB FLEX possibilities). Standard scoring, no PPR.
Mike Williams, Colston, Andre Roberts, Maclin, Bowe EDIT: I'm thinking Williams (very consistent), Colston (fairly consistent with biggest upside), and ???. Last edited by britrock88 : 10-31-2012 at 05:34 PM. |

Trade offer
I get Andy Dalton and MArtellus Bennet and give up Cam and HEath Miller. My team is currently in second place in my division in a 16 team league |

With Sproles out (and Murray already out) I'm kind of in a bad spot at RB. Felix Jones, Alex Green, or Jacquizz Rodgers? I just picked up Jones and cut William Powell.
For FLEX I can start any of the RBs I don't start, plus Kyle Rudolph, Kenny Britt, or a pickup such as Earl Bennett, Donnie Avery, or a bunch of other shitty guys. |

Should I start Steve Johnson (vs HOU) over Calvin Johnson (vs JAX) or is that a stupid question? CJ hasn't been great, and he hasn't practiced all week. They are saying he will play, and he has done this before... and it's CJ..
I even considered Greg Olsen because of the matchup (WAS, terrible against the TE), but I'm not that ballsy. Last edited by Scoobz0202 : 11-03-2012 at 01:00 PM. |

Traded for Peterson last week with the hope of moving Richardson this week... that didn't happen. I'm left picking two of three out of...
R. Rice @CLE A. Peterson @SEA T. Richardson vs. BAL Thinking Richardson gets the bench.... right? |

Is there any situation that you can think of where trading away Doug Martin can HELP my team?
I evaluated a bunch of trades in the Yahoo feature that I thought might help my team, and it reported back that ALL of them were bad for me. One trade was a straight up Martin for Peterson and Ryan Matthews. And THAT would hurt my team. (My other RBs are Ridley and Fred Jackson). Why would that hurt my team? Of course predictions are only predictions, but am I over thinking things by trying to sell Martin while his stock is sky high? My team is kicking ass and taking names, but I would like to boost my team a little more if possible. Full squad: QB - Stafford (could definitely use an upgrade) RB - Martin, Ridley, Jackson, and DeAngelo Williams WR - Andre Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Vincent Jackson, Dez Bryant, Davone Bess, Golden Tate, and Devery Henderson TE - Jason Witten, Jermichael Finley, and Brent Celek K - Connor Barth DEF - NYG Drew Brees was my #1 pick, but I traded him away to get Stafford and Jackson before the season started, not knowing that Stafford would have such a horrid year. Jackson has been money for me, though. Andre Johnson was my #2 pick.

I dunno if this is common, or just my league.
12 teams- One shitty but lucky 7-2 team One 6-3 team 4 5-4 teams 4 4-5 teams 1 3-6 1 2-7 Is parity this bad in your league too? |

One 7-2
Two 6-3 Four 5-4 One 4-5 Three 3-6 One 2-7 As for this week, I've got my choice of iffy backup RB's due to McFadden's high ankle sprain. I'm thinking Richardson is out because of the SF matchup. Daryl Richardson vs. SF Jacquizz Rodgers vs. NO Marcel Reece vs. BAL Joique Bell vs. MIN

that's pretty much how the auction league looks. there's so much info out there you really have to have your head in the sand (or ravaged by injuries) to be terrible.
every year there's an outlier that pushes one or two teams from the pack. last year it was rodgers/brees this year it's the bears d illini i'd go w/ reece based on #touches |

Felix Jones or Vick Ballard (I have D. Murray and D. Sproles out)? I'm leaning Ballard, but things could get a little cloudier if Brown is active.
In another league Fred Jackson or Vick Ballard? Again leaning Ballard. You can see that I hit the waiver wire this week for a RB. Last edited by sooner333 : 11-08-2012 at 10:09 AM. |

DOLA--In the second league with Jackson I also have McFadden, but I think it's pretty safe to assume he's going to be out or at least less effective. By starting Ballard I rule out McFadden (because Ray Rice is definitely starting over McFadden).

Cecil Shorts or TY Hilton tonight? Non PPR-
I'm going Shorts cause I think he will get behind the defense. However Laurent Robinson cut down on his targets and you always have the risk that Gabbert will go 12-33 with 142 yards. |

Donald Jones versus Miami or a banged up Owen Daniels against Jacksonville for 3rd WR this week. Jermichael Finley and Brandon LaFell are other options although I'm thinking I need to go with Jones or Daniels.

my team
Matt Ryan Megatron Andre Johnson Frank Gore Johnathon Stewart (or Mark Ingram) Tony G Steve Smith or Owen Daniels I am the #1 team in the league, the #2 team in the league just offered me... Reggie Bush for Owen Daniels. I see Bush as an upgrade of the crap I have been playing at RB2 and hes gonna be playing Hernandez at TE anyways.... so its not helping him a ton. Is this a good trade? Ive also stuck Ben Tate at the end of the bench in case he can play again.

Last week before playoffs coming up. Gronk injury pretty much ruins my chances at the title. Mike Wallace is worthless now too. I need Beanie Wells to come back in beast mode or I'm screwed. Would be nice for Gates to be worth something. What a shitty turn of events.

I would go with Romo, Graham, STL (although that's kind of a three-way toss-up for me).
For me: I like Kaepernick's matchup vs. the Saints, but there's a risk he doesn't play. I would pick him up speculatively, but my QB is Stafford who plays on Thursday. Worth the risk? Back-up choice being pick up Palmer. I only have six transactions left for the season, so I don't really want to waste a second pick-up on Palmer. |

Graham against SF better than Gonzalez vs TB Is it because Graham is a better first option? |

I'm of the mindset that you draft an elite guy at a position to start him every week. He might not have the best match-up, but you've got to play him every week. Jimmy Graham is one of those guys. Plus, he's been scoring quite a bit the past few weeks. |

3 teams that are eliminated from the playoffs grabbed Hillman/brown/parmalee off of waivers this week. Hopefully they stop doing this next week when the playoffs start.

Meh. But at the same time if I was fighting for a spot and I played a tougher schedule I'd hope the teams already eliminated are at least putting up a fight against those also fighting for a spot. |

I didn't even realize we were this close to the end. Just checked my league and we have two weeks left. Damn.
Although, in my league there are 9 teams that can still get 5 spots with two weeks to go. |

Eh, I thought I could get one of the three guys, perhaps I'm just bitter. One the official playoffs start, though, nobody has an issue in locking the rosters of eliminated teams, right?
We usually finish week 12 and run the playoffs 13/14/15 |

Depends upon whether those teams are playing in some sort of consolation bracket (ala ESPN) or if they're simply shut down once eliminated. If the former then yeah, I'd have a huge problem with it. If the latter then by all means freeze 'em.

Last game of the season, a win means I'm the regular season champ. I'm stumped at my RB spot though.
I've got: Ridley vs Miami Reece vs Cleveland Rodgers vs NO McFadden vs Cleveland I have Ridley pretty locked in, but not sure who to go with for my RB2 as McFadden is potentially coming back this week. Rodgers is starting to get more looks, but I don't think he's consistent enough to start over McFadden/Reece.

That's a tough one. I agree you have to go with Ridley. Sucks that Rodgers plays on Thursday. I might lean toward him at this point anyway. He's maybe marginally worse that Reece, but if McFadden comes back, that could cause a committee or starting the wrong guy.
