Rodgers lack of mobility is really hurting their ability to create plays when his receivers are unable to get open on the original route.

That's a horrendous spot. Not even close to a first down.

EDIT: TWO yards worth. Lol.

Yea. That second angle looked pretty convincing to overturn the call.

And that sack pretty much negates everything.

You think? I don't see how they can overturn that at all. It stayed pretty much a perfect spiral.

So you're not allowed to block downfield when your receiver is still not down?

Whistle blew about a half second before he hit the defender. Not sure how he's supposed to stop his momentum at that point.

It wasn't like he took 3-4 steps and then hit the defender.

ok, why do you not go for 2 there ? If it fails you still take the lead with a FG just the same as with the Extrapoint, basically making this a relatively pressure-free situation to make up that deficit. What am i missing ?

Conventional wisdom says you don't go for 2 until the 4th quarter.

Lets say you miss and Dallas scores a TD, then its a 2 score game.

This. Still too early and you can't allow this to become a two score game.

But you need that extra score either way. If Dallas is going to end up with 28 points, you need the 2 point conversion either on your first TD or on your 2nd TD. Why not find out that information sooner so you can adjust the speed of your offense?

Also lets say you miss, Dallas gets a FG and you follow with a TD. Now Dallas can take the lead with a FG instead of tying it. It's just too early to go for it with that many posession left.

It was still too early to potentially be chasing that point if they miss.

Why are they still calling this ice bowl II? At least with the graphic going to commercial break. It doesn't look like an ice bowl.

Incredible near-catch. Don't think it'll hold up, looks like it hit the ground. That said, why go for broke on 4th and 2?
