Yeah, that's why I suggested the one and done rule. When I saw the draft list I first thought of a good Godfather scene for at least half the categories. However, I do like the wide openness of this draft. I remember the historical person draft got weighed down by too many rules Seems like the picks are coming into 2 categories: deaths that are meaningful to the overall film and deaths that are unique/gruesome unto themselves. It will be interesting to see which the voters choose |

OK, this is another one I struggled with. I didn't want to pick a horror/thriller movie, like a lot have. Yet again, I'm also gambling on other picks. I also have another pick in mind for this category that I just don't know if it will resonate enough. So, I picked the funnest serial killers around:
5.07 Best Serial Killer - Mickey and Mallory Knox, Natural Born Killers

Here is one that slipped way too far down the list. My main problem with this death was where to put it. I guess this is the place for it.

FWIW, it was actually Wade's idea. And now the category I had planned it for is getting rather thin. It's so hard to gauge what others are thinking of.

I think I am pretty set in terms of my categories...Of course, by saying that, all my choices will go off in order now. There was only 1 that I was having an issue with. But I think I found one as I was typing this. |

With their 5th pick in the draft...
5.10 Best Death in a Drama Film - Saburo gets assasinated ~ Akira Kurosawa's "Ran" Anyone who has seen the film has no reason to ask why, anyone who hasn't seen it...well you're missing out my friends. *edit* For those who have no clue whatsover what this is...Akira Kurosawa made a 4 hour epic based on Shakespears "King Lear" and titled it Ran which is just as good (if not better) than Seven Samurai.

Ok.... Here we go...
5.12 - Best Suicide - The Predator blows himself up! I think this category is getting a little thin. Let's see how it goes. 6.1 - Most Heroic Death - Charlie Pace drowns so that the folks on the island can communicate with the freighter folks. Charlie knew he was going to die when he went down to the Looking Glass station to stop the signal interference so that the Losties could communicate with the freighter folks. Desmond told Charlie the only way to Save Claire and Aaron was for him to go down there and flip the switch. The problem here is I'm sure there's not a lot of Lost folks out there voting on lists. My late round picks are dropping like flies. And I didn't think of Dogma, but that is a solid pick.

There are always west coasters and a draft is typically done in 3-5 days. This was setup as a slow draft and that's what you're getting.

With their 6th pick in the draft...
6.3 Best Death in a Television Series - "The Inner Light" Star Trek: The Next Generation This is not for a person per-say, but for the death of the entire planet that now only exists as a memory to Jean Luc Picard. His life as "Kamin" on the small non-federation planet just may be the most touching hour of television I have ever seen.

No, there is a setting you can make when posting a vid to YouTube that doesn't allow the embedding of your vid.
