I am concerned that this team is becoming a bit large...the potential for sabotage grows. Although as long as we don't send the entire team on one mission we mitigate that to a degree.

I agree, Charles, too large of a team makes little sense. Pietro joined with the original group. Assuming that the original invitations went out properly.

Since there have been a number of questions about whether or not we did this correctly, perhaps we should simply assume that we failed to begin the team properly and start from scratch.

Alright, on teams:

We're not going to be picky on any of the invite stuff. The main thing we're looking for is that we have a bolded post saying that you've joined a team. If someone tries to join a team that doesn't want them, that person will not be looked on kindly by the powers that be.

If someone joins a team and some portion of the team doesn't want them to join or wants to kick someone out, vote on it - majority rules, in case of a tie that person is out of the team, because teams are about unity. However, for teams that are formed and maintained by mutual consent, all we need is posts saying that you have joined or are leaving - keeping track of nominations is not necessary.

And if you join a team as the first member and then no one else joins after you, that's fine. We'll just laugh at you. :P

The point of the new accounts is to allow people to play incognito, if they want, and avoid the player history that has developed over the years. If you want to break the wall, or accidentally break the wall, and everyone finds out who you are, that's not against the rules. However, everyone coming out and saying who they are, or witch hunts to that effect, would probably be frowned upon. You're free to speculate, give yourself up, or whatever else you desire along that regard, though.

I have to say, this whole team thing has me a bit perplexed. While I definitely think we should be trying to take advantage of team bonuses and what not, actions that are detrimental to the village which are done as a result of team stuff will definitely get my attention -- and quickly.

I also see the benefit of smaller teams as suggested earlier.
