I'd never thought to check that site, that's awesome. The donate link goes to an actual charity working to help cancer patients.

The episode was on late last night and I checked it out of curiosity. Very cool that it looks like the show worked with an actual charity.

I love the AMC ads for Breaking Bad, highlighting that Dish has dropped the network.

I wish they'd stop promoting "Small Town Security" though. It looks beyond terrible.

I finally caught up with the show this morning.

I watched seasons 1-3 on Netflix late last year/early this year. I managed to DVR all of season 4 when it was airing late nights on AMC.

Can't wait until Sunday.

Finished season four in a 8 hour marathon yesterday, so now watched all four seasons in about three weeks.

I don't know how I'm going to be able to wait a week between episodes. This show is amazing.

sooooo excited! This is the only show (besides sporting events) that I watch live anymore, I've been reading interviews with Cranston and Paul and watching all my favorite scenes on Youtube in the last week and am totally hyped for new episodes.

Agree, the big question in my mind is whether Walt "wins" and dies of cancer or if something/someone else gets to him. The ending for Jesse is much more up in the air to me, is he going find out the shit Walt has done to people he cares about and kill Walt himself? Is he going to have some horrible downfall and tragic death, or does he somehow come out of everything ok?

I feel like that Hank finds out Walt is behind everything. He absolutely has to, that's his big pay-off, everything he's worked for in four seasons. But how does he find out?

There's no way Skylar goes to Hank with the information, I can't see Jesse ratting him out unless he finds out that Walt left Jane to die and poisoned the little boy. However, at that point, I feel like Jesse would just kill Walt himself.

Where does Mike fit in with all of this after they torched the laundry? What's left of the Mexican cartel after the shootout in season four and the death of Hector Salamanca?

Where will Walt and Jesse do their cooking, since the trailers and ad spots clearly hint that they will be "re-opening" the business. I assume they don't have Gus' connections, how will they procure the massive amounts of chemicals and materials needed for a lab? Back to a van? I can't see that happening.

This is undoubtedly my favorite television series that has ever aired and with so many open-ended questions, there's so many avenues and directions every potential loose end could go to tie things up. The one thing I'm certain of is that the ending of this series will not disappoint.

So, wow. Man oh man...I started watching this show a few months back on Netflix and absolutely fell in love. Season 4 isn't on Netflix, so I got it on Amazon and power-watched it in like a week, just in time to catch the season premiere tonight. What a crazy good show. So well written, so well acted, just great all around. Can't wait to see what is in store for the final season.

I don't like when shows give you a look into where things will be down the road. My guess is that opening scene is where the 8 episode mini-season will end and the last 8 episodes will be the conclusion to that.

It's been Breaking Bad's thing since the beginning.

I think it adds to the tension of the show. BB does tense moments better than any other show on TV and so the flash forwards have the benefit of making you think about what may come next to lead to it (though the teddy bear in the pool one really came to fruition in a strange way!!).

Great episode! Psyched for the rest of the season!

Agreed. Every time they have done it (like with the teddy bear), I always wondered, "How do they get to that point?!". The whole thing with the teddy bear was so well done, and it was only a few seconds each time.

With Breaking Bad, I question nothing. They have earned my trust over 47 spectacular episodes.

OK, 46 and the one where they try to kill the fly.

Ha. Fly isn't bad unless you are watching the show live. Then it's an annoying wait before and after for some action.

I still think the episode with the fly is one of the more brilliant episodes in the entire show because it illustrates the building tension in everything so well, despite the pace of the episode itself.

I agree. Don't forget how close a delirious Walt came to confessing to Jesse that he could have saved Jane but chose not to in this one. I get people not liking it though, seems like a love it or hate it type of episode. I could watch Walt and Jesse talk about nothing for hours before I got bored with it and wanted things to progress.

That was a great episode - I seriously thought he was going to spill, I can only imagine Jesse's reaction if he had found out (who knows, maybe he still will!)

I know, but this time they seemed to give a lot more away. The previous years it was just a vague scene with a teddy bear or something. You couldn't put anything together out of it. It's not a big deal since Breaking Bad is done so well, but I just don't like telling people where the show is going.

I agree, absolutely loved that episode. His speech at the end was flawless and I loved the apology. It didn't have the action of the others but I felt completely spent after watching it. One of my favorite episodes and maybe favorite scenes.

Thought this was a great write-up of it.

I have thought about "Mr. Lambert" way too much. I think the only thing that would provoke Walt to that type of ultra violence is that someone probably killed Jesse. I really think that he has no connection to his family any more. Lambert looks motivated for maximum damage and payback, and doesnt seem to care about consequences.

Without turning this into a hot or not thread (ummm...definitely not regardless weight loss), I would agree that she is better looking after she lost weight. We noticed her hair was longer after a period of a couple hours in episode time, which helps a lot as well.

Thoughts at various parts of the episode for me:

-- I could watch Mike, Walt and Jesse sitting around a table talking for hours

-- I could watch Mike and Hank go back and forth for hours (this was the first time Mike and Hank have spoken, right? Holy shitballs that was awesome)

-- I could watch Mike shoot people for hours

I'm assuming Lydia being left alive will bite him in the ass in the long run, but it makes sense for now.

I love the unintended consequence of walt trying to fix one problem and creating another one. The laptop being useless, but it yielding the contents of the accounts. typical BB awesomeness.

I lost 2-3 minutes(the scene with the germans and the DEA, plus the intro of the DEA guy's office conversation where he revealed he was resigning) the first time thru due to a shitty TWC fuckup.
