it wasnt so much for me that you voted in line with someone else...it was that you voted in line with me, twice, in a row.

Back for a moment before dishes. Looks like I don't have to budge my vote right now. I'll be back later.

Well at the moment this is looking pretty cut and dry unless we're going to see some late momentum towards a different individual. I don't know that there's enough info out there to stir something like that but I'll be around. I'm not sure who I'd go with between DV and Pass, I need to think about it.

I guess we're giving RA a pass in the hope that someone can be found to replace him? That's always a tough spot, the chances he has a role are there, and we'll have nothing to go off (vote-wise or post-wise) whether it's him or a replacement tomorrow. Hopefully something happens there soon.

That's assuming he's not actually playing. The odds are he's not, but there's always the chance he's taking the very unique strategy of not voting or posting to stay out of sight, either as a wolf or Santa/Seer. Highly unlikely, but possible.
It seems to be drawing him more attention than less. |

If it does fall on me (which it is looking like it will), keep an eye on those that 3rd and 4th votes that fell on me. I am not sure I can throw it totally at Autumn or CW (although I wouldn't be surprised by either one of them being a wolf). Something isn't rubbing me right about Martin and DV.

I don't know if we've seen that kind of strategy before. I think it's generally viewed as poor gamesmanship if you don't contribute anything at all on purpose. People stay quiet, sure, but I tend to think he probably forgot this was going on. |

True, that would be one heck of an annoying strategy. It seems super-unlikely as well.

I tend to feel like PF probably isn't a wolf since there hasn't been much of a movement on other people.

Probably because if he is a wolf, they are already playing at a disadvantage and we might as well just wait. If not, then we are wasting a day of voting. One way or another, I think we will be able to glean a lot from todays voting. |

you can vote for RA, no problem. I'd say have Ef PM him tonite and see what's up

Well he did vote for RA but it's becoming a useless vote since he isn't in the running, is what I think Pass was going for.

I have it 5 PF, 3 DV, 2 Pass, is that right?
I wouldn't say there's been no movement, but until Darth and Saldana voted it was still pretty up in the air. I'm not going to move just to make movement at this point, as I'd either be tying it up or making it very easy to get messy. Danny can you say why you voted for a new candidate instead of any of the ones in contention? Pass do you still have your vote on Raider's Army? |

Ah, I see, nevermind.
Pass, I was leery of voting RA because he could have a role. I'd hate to kill a roled villager that way. But in the past I've been right with you voting no-shows. I don't know, it sucks to have them but I'd hate to waste a day voting for someone who's not playing. |

I feel like a vote for PF or Pass (since he can move his vote to PF) dooms PF, and I'm not convinced he's a wolf. We still have an hour and I'd like to see what this generates:

We have learned in the past that it is a very good strategy for the wolves to cut one of their own loose early if need be. I'm not sold on their being no movement meaning PF isn't a wolf. I would go so far as to say if he is a wolf there is likely other wolf votes on him. |

Just catching up on the forum before the voting ends.
Is it normal to vote for a player that is not participating to get rid of them? From my perspective, it was throwing away votes without really giving anything away. Seemed kind of a wolfy way to just law low. |

Juggler, in the past no shows have often been lynch targets. There's plenty of reasons why that's not a great idea, but the village often says "let's get rid of people who aren't playing instead of those who are". I'd say that might work in a larger game better, and I think it's backfired on us recently. But I wouldn't say it's necessarily wolfish in that context.

It is very common. The basic philosophy is why they likely arent a wolf, even if they are a villager with a role they aren't utilizing their role anyway and contributing nothing. Better to axe them than someone who is actually participating. |

I see... hmmm, new thoughts...
I still can't help but think it's a good way to stay out of the limelight, and my other options are to dogpile Packer (who I actually suspect a bit) or switch over to DV (who I don't suspect as much as either Packer or Pass). I'll just hold and see what happens in the next 10 minutes. |

juggler - if you suspect packer you should vote for him...my move to tighten it up was to try to prod people into movement, but another vote onto packer prevents deadline-hijinks that would cause a tie...

What are we gaining from him if he does have a role? Sure, if you look at it as wasting a day, it looks bad, but I'd also hate to have him or a replacement show up on Day 4 with no history on him. If he's a wolf and we don't kill him now, we lose. |

Still saying keep an eye on those middle few folks. I can't put a whole lot stock on the pile-ons here - but I am hoping the village can garner something out of my lynching. Don't let me die in vain!

Hrm. I guess the game started. I apologize for not being around. I had checked (Sunday?) earlier and it hadn't started. The past two days have been pretty busy with work; also we just got home from the doctor's in OKC. My son will have to have some procedures done on Monday next week. We're not looking forward to it. I will have to read through the thread to see what's going on, but I'll vote in the next 5 minutes.
BTW, I am just a vanilla villager. |

No worries RA. Sorry to hear about your son - I hope it's nothing too too serious.
In a nutshell what we know now is: I was the neutral and I was lynched on D1, but there was a Christmas Miracle and I was saved by EagleFan. So I'm revealed essentially. Passacaglia and Darth Vilius and Coffee Warlord were the 3 players who didn't vote for either me or saldana (the 2nd place vote getter yesterday), and we're operating on the assumption that saldana was a villager and i guess looking at those 3. I forget exactly why PackerFanatic has garnered all these votes, but he has. |
