Time to play the Warriors before the College Hoops roster is finalized and I start that dynasty which will eventually be synched up to this one. I'm going to sim the first two years of that career which will quickly synch the two up.
Now, we play at the Warriors and they have us severely outgunned without Iggy. We are 20-32 and they are 25-29. Baron Davis, Corey Magette, and Al Jefferson are their 3 big players. We are up 23-16 at the end of 1. We are getting very balanced scoring so far. At the end of the half, we are up 40-35. Boone and Young each have 10 points. Harris has 9 and is playing great defense on Baron Davis. We've held them to 32% shooting in the first half. Down 63-59 at the end of 3 as Baron Davis went off for 13 in this quarter. We were within 2 several times down the stretch but Bellineli hit 2 big 3's down the stretch including one that gave them a 5 point lead with 6 seconds left. If we had gotten a stop there, we could have had a chance to tie. Devin Harris with a quick 3 to make it a 2 point game with 1.6 seconds left.. we can't foul quick enough and they run out the clock. 84-82 loss. Baron Davis wins player of the game with 26 points, 10 assists, and 4 boards. He shot 9 of 21, 5 of 8, and 3 of 4. Belinelli added 20 on 4 of 11 shooting from the arc. Young led our team with 29 points, 5 assists, and 4 boards. He shot 10 of 22, 0 of 3, and 9 of 12. Boone had 16 points, 9 boards, and 4 assists. He shot 4 of 10. Harris had 15 points and 3 assists. Foye had 6 points, 6 boards, and 3 assists. Morrison had 6 points in 14 minutes off the bench. Dalembert had 2 points, 15 boards, and a block. |
