I approve the idea of going to a soccer-style card system if only to sit back and watch the amazing reaction from the "football purists" that the league would take something from that sport.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't fear change, you can change it to whatever you want, I'm just saying that I get to say I watched football when is was great. You just get to say you watched football when it was safe. |

Check Out This Chart of Every NFL Player's Size
That's a neat graphic. I wish I could see one of these for 1980 as well. |

Without bothering to look it up, I would guess Trinidon Holliday.
Regarding the hit by Elam, I think this is something that players need to start policing themselves. By rule, was it clean, yes. But I think it was still a dirty hit with intent to blow the guy up, so to speak. Guys like Torrey Smith need to talk to Elam and tell him that unless he cuts it out, Smith, Jacoby Jones, etc. better be on high alert. The players need to start looking out for each other. That was part of my problem with the head shot debate (and concussion lawsuit), which is that the players talk this big game about unity for player safety, but at the end of the day, they continue to go out there and deliberately try and injure each other. There are plenty of ways to tackle without injuring someone. There are also plenty of ways to get hurt without someone taking a shot at your knee, head, etc., so the players need to cut that crap out. Last edited by Carman Bulldog : 10-16-2013 at 01:42 PM.
