Watching Leftwich, it's pretty clear he's quality. What I think is lacking in their offense hasn't really taken a shot down the field all game. Dink, dink, dink.

Edit: of course.

Apparently, Willie McGinest is a cyborg that gets turned up to 11 in the playoffs.

Ok, I know everyone thinks I'm just a hater, but WTF is up with not throwing a flag on that last sack? He hit Leftwich in the HEAD, FOUR FUCKING TIMES!

That is illegal in the NFL, period, by rule any contact with the head/helmet is a penalty in this league. yet the Patriots seem to be exempt.

gah.

EDIT: not that it really matters as the pussy ass Jaguars haven't even shown up for this game....who is that out there in black and white? Florida State?

Attempting a field goal down 28-3 = throwing in the towel.

It looked to me like he was trying to break his hand with his helmet. Should have been unsportsmanlike.

I think it's because it wasn't a running arm shot.. plus you can't hide the ball behind your helmet to avoid it being knocked out.

It was a series of 4 straight blows to the helmet, there is no excuse for that not being called. period. Doesn't matter what his intentions or the situation were, its a penalty, by the rules of the league.

The "don't hit the QB in the head" rule is so idiotic. Quarterbacks are players too, and if they can't take the hits, they shouldn't play.

Par for the course -- the Pats have constantly accused of cheap hits by jealous haters such at Render. They just hit hard, and non-fans don't like that.

Steelers have NO chance. Final score will be something like 30-6.

I want the Pats to play the Colts in the next round purely for the trash talking that would occur in that thread.

I'd rather it be in the championship game, but it doesn't matter.

Come on, it's not a math decision at that point. You're down 25 on the road late. Your team is done unless you score a TD.

No Face Mask but sack. Did the Jags take the O/U on his sacks today or something? 4.5 Sacks.

The scary thing about tomarrow is that the Bengals - Steelers game still isn't sold out. That means that Steeler fans have had all week to buy tickets to a game that should have been sold out to all the homers within a couple of days. It is going to feel a lot less like home than the Bengals are used too. That is part of the problem. It always has been part of the problem with Pitt goes to either Cincy or Cle.

While statistically true, thats based on yardage only and if the starters play the entire game at KC our total yardage would have been better, not perhaps too much but enough to bring us a number of spots higher than 5th from worst.

The bottom 15 defenses aren't seperated by that many yards per game, so its a bit misleading.

So the Bengals haven't had a playoff game in about a million years, and they still couldn't sell the game out? Jesus.

Hmmm, not sure that exactly fits.

If Willie McGinest was a Red Sox player he'd be...bill mueller??

Where are you getting this from? according to Bengals.Com they sold out the playoff tickets in less than 24 hours from the team clinching the division title. Maybe that was justthe season ticket holders pre-sale or something, but I'm not sure.

Got any links to support this?

Said on the local news that tickets were still available and that they expected the game to sell out tomarrow. They said tickets were still available from their ticket vendor and game a phone number.

Maybe they need to do a TV special in the Jerry Springer time slot to try to explain to the lokels what this whole "playoff" thing is about.

How about

If Willie McGinest was a Red Sox, they would have won 3 world series in the last four years.
