He should have been truthful when asked if Cutler would be able to play...
"He wasn't able to play before so why should we expect him to start now..." |

FIRE LINEHAN!
The Lions offense has been offensive when he's in control. He can't scheme to run. He can't scheme to get the ball to arguably the best WR in the game. Stafford's timing seems off. The only time the Lions move the ball is when they get desperate and the game plan gets tossed. |

A writer called out the Lions for being terrible. The Lions players obviously protested and went out and beat the Eagles. One player said they had embraced the bad boys kind of attitude. Well, they are 2-4. The biggest culprit right now is the passing game. Stafford is a shell of what he was last year and Megatron's numbers reflect that. At least the Lions can hopefully place themselves in a good spot in terms of the draft because the defense still has holes and the OL can always use help. The fact that the Lions will be dealing with cap issues won't help either.

My fantasy team was up by 10 points going into last nights game, and my opponent had Megatron. I had just chalked it up as a loss.
So, naturally I watch the Giants clinch the Pennant in game 7 and forego watching MNF. I wake up this morning to see I won by 7 points... Wow.

Not sure that is worth a one word "Wow" paragraph. Even the fantasy league I'm in where players get points for everything, Calvin Johnson's weekly points have been: 11-8-22-5-bye-13-3. And he only has one touchdown so far this season. Based on those numbers, he was ready for an "off game". Throw in Monday night on the road against one of the top defenses in the game, your odds were looking pretty good.
