Very reminiscent of the Kerry Wood 20k game. Gage Wood had absolutely filthy stuff and had some help from the home plate ump. 19k no hitter is crazy. I think this was his 11th college start and he's pretty much a guaranteed first rounder.

It's interesting that even before the no hitter today he'd been compared to another Cubs pitcher Cade Horton, because he hasn't been a full time starter and hasn't had the best year, but the stuff is clearly elite and should land him in the first round.

LSU is scary good. Probably the most pro talent on a roster.

Cholowsky at UCLA hasn't had the best tournament but he's very likely the top pick next year and would probably go first overall this year if he were eligible.

Horton got called up this year because of injuries and has been pretty good.

Crazy elimination game-when I went to dinner, Louisville had been up the whole game only to see Oregon State come all the way back to tie it in the 9th. I will say that the coach was warned about arguing then kept going, so I can see why he was ejected. But the ump was wrong to have such a quick hook.

Nice to see Coastal Carolina's Catcher Caden Bodine-go in the first round of the draft-was hoping it would be an all time high for Coastal but Eric Brown went to the Brewers in 2022 at no.27 where Bodine went #30 to Baltimore. Was hoping for a NL team but just happy he was drafted.
