Anyone have a guess to where Howland ends up?

You have low expectations for UCLA. They just lost by 25 in the NCAA tourney to the gophers who were lucky to score 50 the latter part of the season.

UCLA should be a top 20 team every single year or at least be a top 10 team every 3-4 years. They should be able to pick their recruits almost every single year like unc,Kentucky, and duke. UCLA should own the west coast and recruiting. If being Missouri is fine with you than Howland is doing a good job.

Howland would have been the best coach at Missouri

When are we going to Fire Roy at UNC for struggling over the past few years because he hasn't lived up to expectations either?

He just won a championship and his recruiting has been stellar. Not comparable. They will be a top 10 team next year.

I don't get why OSU didn't go 2 for 1 there, but it looks like it's worked out in their benefit

That is what you come up with out of a timeout? At least give yourself a 1% shot by throwing it down the court vs. a .000001% shot.

There should not be tv dead time today. 8 games today and you can't schedule it so that there's not a 40 minute gap today?

If they can barely beat Iowa State they won't beat Arizona if Good Arizona shows up.

Well, Chuck is right about the call. Either he's still moving because his foot is not set or he was in the circle. I've seen some people say that it's a plane not a space so if his foot was not set, he was still breaking the plane.

If he had any reputation of knowing anything about college hoops his stupid comments would bother me. When it is so clear he knows absolutely nothing about college basketball his comments are easy to ignore.

I'm going to go ahead and make this stupid "obvious" prediction. This game is almost certainly 10+ Indiana lead with 5 minutes to go

Man, don't even get me started on this. Romar takes UW basketball higher than it's been since a brief run in the early '50's, but two years of going to the NIT instead of the NCAA and now the vocal idiots want him gone or at least on a scorching hot seat next year? SMH. Unless something goes drastically wrong, Romar will (and should) retire at UW.

As for UCLA, anyone that thinks it isn't a premier job is seriously deluded. They've always had the talent base and the mystique of the UCLA brand, and now they have a top-notch arena to match and appear to finally be loosening the purse strings.

Howland is a good coach, but he lost his way at UCLA and has created a toxic situation that he'd have a very hard time recovering from. Time for him to start over elsewhere.

There's no reason UCLA should settle for someone that can't have them in the top-3 in the conference every year, winning it more than they don't, making the NCAA annually and competing for titles 2-3 times per decade.

Don't see it, barring Zeller foul trouble or Crean idiocy. Both are in play, but still like Indiana's chances to survive and advance.

This game is ridiculously physical. The refs should have attempted to take that out of the game early because it's a bit silly.

Yeah, I'm used to seeing Zeller get foul calls every time someone coughs near him. So this is a little jarring, especially with the idea that the NCAA games aren't supposed to be as physical as Big Ten hoops.

They obviously watched the film of how to beat Indiana (see: Wisconsin and Ohio St films) because they're absolutely pushing the limit of how rough you can play without being called a foul. I don't know how Temple plays normally but their 120th AdjDefEfficiency tells me they shouldn't be completely dismantling Indiana.
